LOL - I hope I didn't do that...I did do that, didn't I...dammit!
I think the paraphraser thing is inherited from my mom, and she got it from her dad. I come from a solid line of people who just make up words for things...and actually I am the first in the line to realize other people don't always know immediately what it means...so I tend to define the ones that I think need it. Them? They just walk around makin' shit up and assuming everyone else will somehow stay on the same page - it's one of the things I really love most about that side of my family, so I'm particularly grateful for your saying that!
Yeah man, Stapleton is super talented. That climbing chord walk-up under the sustained vocal (Fii-iii-iiii-iire) was tricky, had to listen again to understand how to put that all together. ...God Song...makes me think of the Gnostics I believe it was, who said that all existence is a song, the vibrations of which form fractals that become the fibers of the physical realm. The Choir of Light sings the song of creation which, over time will harmonize with the song of healing. ...those guys are a fascinating bunch, I find it wild that all of Christendom seems to have such a vengeful disdain (or at least aggressive disregard) for these ancient Christian mystics. Anyway, if they're right, I guess your house is a God Song...or at least it's a note in there somewhere 🤣
I'd forgotten about that! I remember now, right around the time we first met, there was something up with your hand, a surgery perhaps? Shit man, that's awful dude - especially to have had such talented hands! I will strive to improve always, but don't expect to ever be as good as that! ...then you go in that gridless one and blast out wicked good coloring skills too? Who the hell are you man??? I'm beginning to think we're existential opposites, you and I. I am the perpetual half-asser, jack of all/master of none, etc., classless and grubby like a honey badger. You have awesoem writing, perfect formatting, art skills to dazzle the eye and engage the mind, and you're classy and sharp, like a jaguar or something. You can be Simba, I'll be Pumba!
I appreciate that - when I used to get something right, my 1SG would say "well dickhead, even the blind chicken pecks the corn once in a while..." ...I was fortunate to stumble onto a really cool idea with the avatar bit, however you've influenced me to class it up, which will likely add longevity to the project...at this point the idea is shared intellectual property.
Unicorn Eyelashes...my oldest daughter (@allie.cat) had hearing issues when she was little. She loved unicorns, but she pronounced it "wallcomb" :)
At any rate, you've got me there. I'm traditionally equipped with a pencil, a standalone eraser, and a finger for smudging...plus maybe a Bic and a sweet Temu pen...that's about as advanced as I get. But I didn't wanna admit that I don't know what that is, so I tried searching for unicorn eyelashes art something-or-other...
lol - so is this some sort of detailing brush? I've always wanted to try Japanese sumi.
last thing - the dude in the cubicle adjacent to me, who in three years has never played music that I've been able to hear, just blasted the intro to Lion King:
‘Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba Sithi uhm ingonyama.
‘Nants ingonyama bagithi baba Sithi uhhmm ingonyama Ingonyama Siyo Nqoba Ingonyama Ingonyama nengw’ enamabala’
~Pumba, out.
