After the long Eid holidays, Fatimiya Centre has opened again and classes have started. Holidays are given on every big event so that students can enjoy and also get relaxation, and teachers also get a chance to rest.
On this Eid, 9 days of holidays were announced for the students and the teachers which was really a good period to have rest and enjoy the days of Eid. That was really incredible and we thanks the Principle for doing that.
At Fatimiya Centre, the responsibility of social media has been given to me. I do coverage of all the events there, and I try to save the best moments in the cameraβs memory. I try to capture each and every moments of the event which is necessary for the record of the Centre as well.
After a long time, there was arrangement of prayer in congregation here, and we saw a large number of students. Last night, on the occasion of congregational prayer, I took these pictures with my mobile camera, which was a soul-refreshing scene.
First of all, I want to give you some information about prayer. Prayer is a religious activity in the Muslim religion and it is offered five times a day. In prayer, Surahs and remembrance (zikr) are recited and it is a time to talk to God according to Muslim belief.
In the Muslim religion, prayer is made compulsory, and offering five times prayer is necessary. If someone doesnβt do this, then punishment is fixed for them in the Hereafter. But if someone is regular in prayer, then they gain closeness to God and become full of Godβs blessings.
Thatβs why in the Muslim religion, prayer has a lot of importance. Based on this, prayer in congregation is arranged daily at Fatimiya Centre, where young and old, everyone joins.
Mostly, there are small children who are also students here. They are taught all types of manners and obligations, which is a good step. Along with religious activities, there are also educational activities here, like organizing seminars and other activities.
The class timing at Fatimiya Centre starts from 3 in the afternoon and goes on till 9 at night. During this time, there are two sessions, one is specially for women and the other is for men.
In short, many activities continue all year in this centre. Prayer is included in these activities. At prayer time, all children do ablution, sit on the prayer mat, and wait for prayer time.
The process of prayer takes around 15 to 30 minutes. As soon as the prayer ends, all children go back to their classes. This activity continues on a daily basis.
These are some pictures from me of the prayer at Fatimiya Centre. I hope you liked the pictures and also got good information about prayer.
