After the blessed month of Ramzan, now itโs time for Eid. After fasting for 29-30 days continuously, God gives His people the best gift, and that is Eid (the day for sharing peace, love and joy). After the month of Ramzan which lasts for around 29-30 days depending upon the moon, three days of Eid are celebrated, during which fasting ends, and itโs a time for celebration and greetings.
It is the day when all the people of the world are happy and they do wish each other Eid Mubarak. Its good to see that people belonging to other religion also celebrate this day and do wishes each other.
Its really a great blessing for everyone of us and it is the day which teaches the lesson of love, peace, sympathy, joy, care and many more. on this day we should be caring poor people and all those needy ones.
Today, Eid Ul Adha is being celebrated, and everyone has been waiting for this day. This is the day when people thank God for His blessings and share happiness with each other. In the Islamic religion, this day is considered the best gift from God for those who were successful in fasting.
The three days of Eid are days of happiness, and these are the days when everyone is smiling. The fasting of Ramzan is over, and now everyone prepares for good food, sharing sweets, and feeding each other delicious food.
Itโs a day when every family meets with each other, goes to each other's houses, and shares the joy of Eid. Everyone has fresh notes in their pockets and wishes each other "Eidi" (Eid gifts).
Eidi is mainly given to small children, but in our culture, both adults and children receive Eidi, and the exchange of love and gifts continues for three days. Everyone wears new clothes, applies perfume, and goes out to share the joy of Eid.
In our culture and tradition, itโs customary for guests to visit for three days. Family members come to meet each other, and friends also visit each otherโs homes. Special food is prepared for guests, and bakery items are served to them.
Similarly, we also go to the homes of relatives and friends to wish them Eid. This continues for about three days. For children, Eid is very special because they have school holidays and get a chance to enjoy it.
I always try to take children to the circus, playland, or other entertainment places on Eid so they can enjoy the day. They are also given Eidi in the form of money, which they spend on food and drinks.
Itโs a wonderful day for both children and adults, and it comes once a year. I will try to share the joy of the three days of Eid with you and, as much as possible, share pictures of my gatherings with friends and relatives. Eid Mubarak to all of you, and I pray that you all have a lot of happiness on this day, and may your difficulties be removed.
