We had a weekly meeting and class in Fatimiya Centre, where we discussed different topics and upcoming events in the centre. In the end of the day, a special class is arranged for the students to inform them about the activities and to teach them about discipline and other good habits.
It's always been fun to see friends gathered after a week and to hold a meeting where we come to know about different issues and their solutions. Last week, we prepared ourselves for the Winter camp session, which will last for at least 2 months.
The Winter camp session is not easy to handle because you have to control more than 150 students inside the centre, teaching them different classes, and managing their discipline and sports activities. Thank God, we successfully managed to start the winter camp session, and about 150 students were admitted for the classes.
We start the day with an assembly where a qualified teacher comes and teaches for 15 minutes about the necessary disciplines for the students to carry out throughout the day. The winter camp session will continue for two months, and during this time, staff and teachers need to be informed about every issue we face and how to manage it smoothly.
For a successful winter camp session, we as staff members need to have regular meetings on a daily basis. We will discuss each and every issue and their solutions, and also plan sports activities for Friday nights. This is because we have promised the students that we will take them to different sports activities on Saturdays or Sundays.
The Winter camp session will continue for two months, requiring staff and teachers to be informed and proactive in managing issues. We need to manage classes and keep updating the students about current affairs and the latest discussions.
There are some pictures that I share with you guys regarding the last night's session. We planned to have a class for students first and then arrange our meetings. You can see some pictures of students taking classes which adding to their knowledge.
The class session was handled by Sir Syed Mehdi, who has 5 years of teaching experience and knows well about teaching techniques and how to face small students. To be honest, it's not easy to teach smaller students, and that requires a high level of professionalism to control them.
Anyway, the class and meeting session took around 2 hours to end, where we discussed different issues and tried to provide their solutions. The next week will be more challenging for staff members because more students could join the classes as the winter school vacation has started.
The centre aims to provide a productive and enjoyable experience for the students during the Winter camp session, and we will try our best to provide them with a better education platform.
