i started to reply but it got so long i decided to make it into a post, and who knows, this may encourage others to make detailed reports / requests too, to further improve this most excellent eceny app.
i wish #InLeo were at all responsive to feedback i offer, then i would also write detailed reports for them (although now it would be a book not a report as there are so many!). When i do so however they seemingly get ignored (although a very occasional upvote from Khal so at least i know he's seen it) and many bugs still remain many months later - sorry, a bit of a rant there, but perhaps one day @khaleelkazi & @anomadsoul will sit up and take notice. i live in hope. Read to the bottom guys 'cos i do give you some credit, and i know i'm always harping on about the never fixed bugs, but you are doing very good work too, just priorities are not correct imo. (and others too, just ask Task).

The settings you mentioned seem to be only for push notifications (which incidentally i don't often see if app is in background, and they only appear on screen for a short period).
What i'm talking about is the filters under the notifications tab which only offers 3 options.
i would like to see more options, definitely one for Favourites, need to think about others. Reason is if say i get hundreds of votes on a post (which does happen sometimes) then there's too many for me to scroll through to see the notifications for posts from my favourites, or transfers perhaps, or ?.

Also, another issue, when making a quick reply & uploading an image, if i then switch to full reply mode the image (or link) is no longer there so i have to upload again (just happened in this reply to you.
Also, another issue. In profile view (my own or others) we can only have three options at any one time. See image
By clicking + icon these options can be changed, but are saved. A better option in my opinion would be to have all options able to be seen by sliding finger to left (or clixking an arrow to reveal more) to see the ones not in view, as it is on PeakD. See image. Much easier/quicker that way.
Finally (i think :-), and i've asked this before, maybe it might be possible to change now;
i often want to copy (to quote) some text in a post to which i am replying. Then continue writing, then copy some more text from the post, and so on.
At the moment the only way to do this is to close the reply so i can see the post (and this works very well now since instant auto draft save update - very grateful for that) then go to view edits, then another click top right corner so i can copy. Very slow & cluncky. Alternative which is a bit quicker is to screenshot the section i want, but not as good and wasting both my data and image server space. Understand?
One more thing. You can see at the bottom i've screen-shot part of my previous post to help attract click through. It's a bit cumbersome to do that. Kudos where it's due, When using #InLeo if i post a link it gives a very good post preview so no need to screenshot like i have done. Here is example:
Normally the first image would show in that preview, but there's a bug at the moment (ironic :-), but apparently Leocache (err.. i mean Leonode) will solve that. Not holding my breath though.
Maybe the code for the post preview is open source so easy for you to copy/adapt for Ecency. Khal?

Thank you for such a detailed feedback... two of feature you requested are already in process but we are facing some technical difficulties in making them work... one bug you reported related to image insertion and then expanding editor, that's a nice catch, I will work on it and try to make part of next release coming a few days.

Wow! This is a detailed report. It has been shared with Ecency devs and I will try to give you feedback.
My role- I am a mod in Ecency Discord and often work as a liaison with Ecency Developers when I see Ecencials offering suggestions like this that I think developers need to see! 💕
