Do you own a company with 100 or more employees? Is your company situated in the US? If you answer "yes" to both questions then your out of luck. Why?
That because....
Hidden within a 2400+ page mega bill (page 168) was the mandate mechanism forcing companies in the US to vaccinate their employees.
Companies refusing to comply would be fined $70k for the first offense and $700k for the second offense.
Normally, such a bill would not be passed as the opposition (the Republican) would block the the bill. Unfortunately for them, Congress, the Senate, and the Executive office are currently controlled by the Democrats.
With the Democrats controlling the three branches of the government, they could pass any bill they wanted without a care to the opposition. Moreover, for the more controversial bills, the Democrats could just tucked it within a mega bill like the $3.5 trillion "reconciliation" bill.
The tactic of slipping a new bill into a massive bill wasn't exactly new nor was it the first time that the Democrats did it. Remember the new crypto bill? Yeah they slip it into Biden's new infrastructure bill.
How about democracy and freedom, you ask? Well, it's f*cked up, that's how.
