Some may think we're naive, but I firmly believe that the LOVElution, starting from @unklebonehead 's #leadingwithgenerosity and @dreemport's initiative as part of the dreemport/ecency challenge, will go far for all who participate.
It's definitely no coincidence that this topic is popping up independently on all corners. Be the change you want to see in the world! Is a quote attributed to Ghandi and has its justification today the same way as it had back then.
Yes, it's easy to focus on bad news these days and rant about it all, but what's the point in the end? Being informed and tuning into negative conditions are two different things that need to be separated. Change can only happen when we focus on what we can change, what we can actually do in our immediate environment. This is where our energy and attention may be applied.
More than 50 people are participating in this Dreemport Challenge. A drop in the bucket or the flap of a butterfly's wings that triggers a tsunami on the other side of the world? Who knows, who can say. But just the one small loving thing we do every day can make a big difference by multiplying.
This was the 2nd week of the Challenge and it's so fascinating how much joy everyone had in supporting others on the chain with their Ecency Points Boosts.
Love - Support - Generosity
These were the themes that inspired us this week. I'm sure you felt as I did that it had an impact not only on my behavior on the chain, but also in my normal everyday life? I felt much more the need to be loving and generous in every second of my daily life. A fascinating experience.
So I think this stone that was thrown into the lake of life draws circles and circles, it overlaps with the circles of the other stones and in the end a wonderful pattern emerges. A network, a frequency that spans our planet.
The Boosting Challenge
This weeks challenges have been all about to boost other people with our ecency points, and here are the one I choose for this week:
1 - boost someone on your team - okay, THIS one was a real challenge! I know some others also had the same problem, because everybody I visited from the dreemport challenge people already got a boost, or an encouragement vote or the posts were too old, because its recommended to better boost new posts, at least not older then 2 days...
So this was Kemmy's luck ;-) although not in my "unvisible secret leader team" this was, where my boost went. @kemmyb always makes great posts and also textes for the freewriters :-)
2 - Boost-a-newbie day This reminded me on somebody, I saw some days earlier with a wonderful post about fox photography:
I saw this post and to any nature and animal lover! Got and watch out for: My Journey to the Fox Twins by @dedsowl
The fox post was too old to boost, but therefore I found a newer post, also with great photos. I think we will see a lot of wonderful posts from this newbie in the future!
3 - Choose a community
As the "unvisible secret leader team" wasnt so active, I just choose a community for my own and I went to the Ecency Community to watch out for a post.
I found a post from one of our very well known and active members in Ecency Discord, @zakludick . Zak is very very active in onboarding people to Hive and Ecency, he explains and shows them their way round. This for sure is reason enought, to give him an ecency boost for this post:
4 - Boost-a-buddy hmmm, there are a lot of buddies I found in all those months, but just by chance one of my early bird buddies, who joined in with me roundabout at the same time and also comes out from the german speaking community made a post, I found very very interesting and in any case worth a boost!
@dragon-ti is one of my very first "hive friends". I guess everybody has a hand ful of people, joining Hive at the same time, this makes a lifetime connections.
He is a great german fellow, always friendly and helfpul, but doing a real hard work! 10 hours daily bone job, sometimes 6 days a week, in building up those concrete parts for huge bridges. Although he has this job, he finds time to at least some little posts and is active every day!

I found it so intersting to see, how such a part is built up, with a weight of tons! And there still is so much humans work behind it, fascinating!
"TELL US ALL ABOUT YOUR WEEK"
One thing I want to share, here: One of our ecency curators, who didnt know about the dreemport challenge came up with:
"Wow, there are so many people boosting newbies, THIS IS GREAT!!!"
And indeed, she is right, this is SO great and such a wonderful idea. Made me thinking about, everyone of us could pick out a newbie and suport for a certain time, to help find their way. Not nessecary everytime a boost, but just some helping words, a little upvote and a lot of encouragement!
This could make a difference for a lot of people who join here without having an old friend on chain or having luck finding the right people in the beginning.
What if it would be normal for anyone on chain, to become a mentor for one other person? Oh, I see, this is a great idea. Will figure this out and let's see what we make out of it. But now, just lets look out for our next dreemport / ecency challenge week.
Yea! Week three will start soon, an I only can tell you this: Dreemy will come up with another shiny, lovely and lifechanging challenge for week 3 !!!

It is a numbers game I must say. For anyone wishing to get someone onboard on Hive. You talk to 10 people and most people will sound interested but only 1 person will sign up and out of 10 people signed up, only one person maybe starts posting regularly.
Some of those regular posters quit within a week or month. it's not hopeless though, some of those come back later. The point is to bring people in and show them what can be done. Those that want to, will keep asking questions!

I gave up to onboard people! Was so enthusiastic in the beginning, telling my friends and everybody, but they just havent been interested, au contraire my best friends tried to pull me away and to made it not feeling good for me. And so I stopped telling them about. Even now, after a year, wenn I tell something about a post I wrote.. no interest, not even reading what I write. Out of all my friends there are only 2 who also joined and are active.
So what! :-D everybody has to decide himself and here on chain are more then enough newbies I can help.
