I think this comes, when ecency staff runs out of time for curating all posts and so after 24h you get your points back. But to be honest, I'm not 100% sure, so I call dear @melinda010100 maybe she can help?
I can understand the 24 hour bit. But this was instantly when I requested to boost. The same moment. So not after 24 hours.
That is what made it confusing for me.

@littlebee4 The reason that your POINTS were returned is because you had already received an Ecency encouragement vote before you tried to boost your Malaga post and the same for your Kingfisher post. Ecency doesn't want to take your Points when they have already given you a vote! No boost necessary for these posts.
