Market Friday (Buying some foodstuffs)

in Ecency3 years ago

A normal sunny day in Ghana West Africa. Fridays are usual a normal and stressful day of the week as you have to wrap up with what you have done for the weekday. I also normally have to attend jumuah prayers also.

I would like to participate in @dswigle's #marketfriday challenge.

As a resident of the northern part of Ghana, I visited the tamale central market to purchase some foodstuffs to help the family’s daily cooking routine. It is the biggest and the cheapest of all the three markets we have in tamale. It is called the Aboabu Market.I have my seller from whom I always buy from so I always proceed or her as roaming the market is normally stressful.
I bought some rice, cooking oil, canned tomatoes and mackerel. The cost of these items was GHC 530 ($87).

I paid for them and headed home.
I stopped a soft drinks store to purchase some drinks for the family. The cost of the drinks was GHC 105 ($17).

I packed my drinks and headed back home. I paid my tricycle driver GHC 10 ($1.8).

It was a very stressful journey. I spent a total of GHC 645($105.8)

In conclusion market days in tamale are always interesting, I would keep you updated with its information.

Thank you for reading.
