Wrapping my head around

I have been here long enough to notice them and to know they exist, but I never found the time or felt the need to delve into what they really are.

so now, that I find myself more and more engaged and committed, I make the time to become a better Hiver myself, in part, so I can better help others.

today was one of those days where one thing lead to another and one post lead me down the rabbit hole.
Curation trails were without a doubt where I had to go figure today.

I found this (updated) post to be helpful and following it, managed to register for Hive.vote, find, follow and configure the settings for my trails of choice.
I was lead to @bradleyarrow and found not only what seems like a good source for other things, but also a good post explaining in detail, what curation trails actually are and how to follow them. https://ecency.com/hive-155221/@bradleyarrow/joining-a-curation-trail-updated Thank you for that @bradleyarrow 🙏

Another good source, with 3 different posts discussing curation trails is @nattybongo https://ecency.com/hive-176874/@nattybongo/how-to-search-for-curation-trails Thank you @nattybongo 🙏

also, I have configured my desired settings for each one of the followed trails.
now, I will be observing the results and draw my conclusions and maybe go back to fine-tune those settings if necessary.bottom line, using those sources for orientation, I managed to wrap my head around the concept, then register, search, choose and follow several curation trails, some of which, I was already familiar with (as in the case of @plantpoweronhive for example).

Another interesting thing I learned today as an extra is The BBH project
more to dive into, more to learn.
you can read more about it here:
by @bradleyarrow which has a power up day once a month on the 20th. of each month. (today!!) https://www.thebbhproject.com/

It has been a big day, between curation trails and my Bamboo plants, and I feel tired but satisfied for learning something new on the long way to becoming a better Hiver.

wishing us all a peaceful Thursday.
thank you for stopping by 🙏

You are welcome, and thank you :) !BBH

Thanks for the links, I had joined a curation trail when I first joined hive but not really thought about them since - time to pay a bit more attention
