We have hope, because we love you so much
Special this time.
For me a great topic because of my two furry friends, my furry kids are very important, now especially because my oldest , Charlie is sick. Very sick, and will leave us probably soon.
He has cancer in the spleen. The spleen is the organ where cancer was diagnosed two weeks ago after much research. A big shock for us. they are an important part of our family and loving an animal and getting love from an animal is just very special. We both grew up with dogs and don't want
to be without them.
It started when we picked him up after we returned from Miami.
He was lethargic and slept way to much.
We went to the doctor and made film and photos of all the organs.
The spleen is operable but he is 9 and we are still waying the options.
The love is so big, he was there when the boys were still very little.
And still he is the center of hugs when everyone comes home from school and uni.
He has a special very soft new dogged.
Due to the meds he is on now he drinks at every waterfountain.
He barks to one of us to turn on the water.
He is such a handsome Gordon. He is a proud gorden setter male.
Born in 2014 in february.
We went to a centre near rotterdam to do extensive research and still are having them under speeddial.
Ofcourse one of my sons went with me while he had to go under the scan.

With his brother Joey our other sweethart.
He feels that there is something wrong, he is frigtened. We have to give them both even more love than we do normally.
This is the room where we got the bad news.
Very sad but full of hope. We will try to keep him with us as long as he is without pain. We struggle and still are not happy with his condition now with new meds. But again with hope. Its two weeks but we will wait and see what the next few days bring and next week on Tuesday we will visit the doc again.
He is brave, as will we.
The love is growing when days are bad.
We walk longer walks, give more cuddles,
Eat fresh meat, and sleep together.
Till death do us part.

I'm very sorry that your beautiful furry baby and your entire family have to go through this, it most be very hard. Your black babies are so beautiful and sweet 🥺 I hope the doctors give you a good plan to keep him good and without so much pain, and I'm shure he feels all the love you are giving to him and it's making him feel better 🩵
Such bad news! I was touched as I read your blog, it melted my heart. I have a friend who's a dog that underwent surgery at 9 years old. Everything went well and it is better now. Let's not lose hope, I know he can do it.

Whatever the outcome, I know you are strong enough to handle it as long as you know he is not in pain. If it was worth the surgery, I know in a heartbeat you would do that. So, I hope he is good here for awhile without pain.
