Why choose to worry?

Matthew 6:27
“which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature”
Not too many Christians let this rhetorical question sink into our heart and allow the love of God to free us from the habit of worrying. To be truthful no amount of worrying can add value to our life, it doesn’t solve anything or make things better, worrying robs you of your sleep, your healthy life style and a whole lot of good years ahead.
My grandfather who wanted me to know the power of God shared a story, he had an accident and, in that incident, he lost his right leg. It was found out weeks later the wounds were not healing and so the medical practitioner needed to amputate the remaining right leg. He disagreed and told the doctors “they do not have permission from his father to amputate his leg”, the doctor advised my mother and her siblings to talk to their father (my grandfather) about the leg before it becomes something else. On the third day, my grandfather asked for the bandage on his leg to be removed, and to their surprise, the wounds around the leg were all healed. The doctors couldn’t believe it, and one doctor ask “who is your father you were talking about?’’, and he replied “Jesus”.
When you worry, you are not putting faith in God, as a child when you ask your parent for something you just believe and expect that your parent will deliver your request. God sees and know what ever you are going through, when you refuse to worry you are putting your faith in God. You have more confidence in His love and power, then you will see the manifestation of your blessing. you will see your miracle.
