In the Peakd platform when you put a negative rating on a comment, as soon as it goes into hidden form. And, we cannot therefore see directly, without clicking on what is hidden.
Off, on the Ecency platform, the messages that we voted negatively remain in view, he does not hide it.
See example image on Peakd, from a comment I downvoted.
Not being hidden on Ecency, it looks a bit cheni and not good.

Reputation or votes does have effect and that's why there is appropriate message on top of comment. And yes we don't hide comments/speech, we can disagree or dislike it, at least we try to follow that rule. You can mute author if you don't want to see their comment, that will work the way you want I think.
Ok because generally they are spammers. That's why sharing an article to a public by Internet link, when there are spammer comments it is better to share Peakd's, personally.
It looks nicer for the readers.
Because, when a spamer puts compromising photos where we see sex on an article, it is really very bad for my article.
NSFW content should be hidden by default at least image. Can you share example of comment you mentioned wasn’t good for you?
In my last post, a Russian regime troll spammer was full of disgusting photos and regime-constructed propaganda videos. And, also that of my previous article. He really messed up my articles. With even insults on a comment, where you put a vote comment. I didn't need that, but it's fine. I left a comment, to make readers understand the poverty of these evil Trolls.
Ok, we will rethink of hiding comments option.
