The thing that I would do differently is to focus on improving my concentration. I tend to multi-juggle, attempt to do lots of things all at once. What happens with this approach is that although things do get done β , thereβs a lack of quality. So it should rather be quality over quantity. I think my life will improve, radically, if I try this approach.
You are right! Sometimes we get too busy and achieve little. I hope you give this approach a chance and best of luck on it. π
(Was just passing by...thought to say hi!) π
Hi, back
Nothing. Cant change the past
That is true. We have to live with it. At least according to the current science, time travel (backwards) is not possible. But we all travel forwards in time. While there is nothing I would do differently in 2021, there are many things in the past that I would do differently.
Well, since we cant change the past, why dream about changing impossible stuff?
I feel like its better just to accept it and move on.
Also, if its somerhing you/we did in thr past it was properly because we thought that would yield the best outcome in that moment. So I don't think we should feel back for living the moment and make a decision :D
I think they either meant 2022 or what you change *from * 2021 to 2022. Like a typo or something?
I domt understand how this can be misunderstood??
It can alao be said. What is one thing you would change in 2021..
It seems so straight forword to understand oO
I domt think so :)
I would maintain my aim of never to give up because the slow movement of a tiger is not a mistake but a calculated accuracy, so definitely slow and steady wins the race.
There's something with the syntax of this question that puts me off. Maybe you are asking, "What is one thing you wish you had done differently in 2021?" None of us really have access to time machines that I know of.
I think the gist of the question is asking if we had done anything differently in 2021 then what what it be?
Anyway in the New Year I want to make more time for myself in meditation and reading. I missed a lot of personal time this year.
Probably you meant to say 2022.
Well I 2022 whe never what's going to happen but we do hope for the best and I will try to be a noticeable user on Hive blockchain getting to 10K Hive.
I am also looking at ecommerce to dive in.
Pretty sure the meant 2021. Since 2022 haven't happend yet therfore what you would change if you could change on thing in 2021.
Confusing :)
Nah, not reallt.
Seems pretty straght forward to me
Less power down, more HPUD
Be more realistic...
I would take any opportunity for financial freedom aggressively and I would draw closer to my creator
Not sure if you meant in 2022 but in both ways, what I would do differently is making efforts to be consistent with writing and appreciative of whatever support that I receive.
Why? Because earlier this year, I received so much support from @zuerich both in my posts and in delegations but with the many challenges I faced offline, I literally forgot that someone on hive was rooting for me, asking that I could do better with the little support given. Even when I realized it, I was reluctant or maybe skeptical about coming back to blogging on hive. Now, I look back at how far I would have come if I simply returned to blogging on hive 8 months ago. This put me in deep sadness, knowing I could have done better and even gotten my reputation higher to the point of also helping newbies at this point.
So, if I could do anything different, I would use the hive power delegated to me to earn thrice more hive power by posting daily and engaging with other users on hive. Also, putting efforts in learning more about hive and its dapps. I still look forward to doing better henceforth!
Congratulations to the winners of previous contest. Do have a lovely Christmas.
100% meant 2021.
Hello all
Short and sweet and quickly written, I would come to Hive much, much sooner.
The one thing I would do differently in 2021 is "self improvement".
I would not swear at my work colleague...
Namaste π @ecency,
every year i am doing some social or donation work, last year i distributed cloths to poor peoples, last to last year i distributed sweets to poor people on occasion of dipawali. But this year i distributed blankets to poor and road side living peoplesβΊ.
it is duty of all people who is capable to donate, do some help to poor people. this is my own opinionπ.
Congrats for winner
Think different and be different.
I would like to think differently which no one did or tried to achieve something which is most important thing of life.
Thinking more of those at the bottom than those at the top.
change daily food basically fish and vegi from meat.
keep my weight light.
Joining Hive sooner :D
Also, more workout, health is important.
@ecency Is the question worded properly or did you mean to say 2022?
You could take it in any way, what you regret or do differently in 2021 or what you will do different next year.
Thank you for editing the wording of the question to reflect both years! @ecency
I add more 'fuel' to keep me g(r)o(w)ing!
Thank you, very much appreciated. This win pushed me over the 1500 HP ...
Now the one thing I would do differently is to NOT forget to take photos of the little things. Often enough, I look back at my day, and think: "Oh, this would have been a nice blog". But as usual I forgot to take photos. So missing chances there.
Another thing I would do differently is, the lack of focus I had this year. And that's partly because I lost my rhythm, so bringing that back in my life is one of the best things I can do for myself, and also for my partner. The better my focus is, the better my engagement here is, more blogs and more earnings, which is good for the ultimate goal. Changing our life.
Well, probably make more time to see my family. I was so busy with crypto this year, I realized a few weeks ago that I barely spend any time with my family. There were times where I didn't see or really speak to my Dad for nearly 3 months, despite him living only about 20km from me. With my siblings slowly moving around the world as they travel their own path, I realize the days where "the family's all here" are coming to an end.
I hope to do more fun things in 2022 instead of spending so much time on work-related things. Itβs time to pick up a hobby I think.
Moving into 2022, I hope to argue less, and forgive more, easily... The French have a saying everything understood is everything pardoned. I hope to be that kind of person that doesn't hold onto grudges and finds excused for people so that, I, too, might be forgiven.
Along with working on this greater acceptance of others/life, I hope to develop my patience --I think acceptance and patience are related, somehow, in that if we are patient, we do not rush to judge, condemn or complain. May this find you well and enjoying weekend. β₯οΈ
One thing I want to do is - post on Hive every single day of 2022.
I would work smarter instead of harder
Well they say the past can never be changed but the present is being defined by the actions we take. So if there is one thing I would do differently in 2021/2022 then I think it would be missing out so much time on the hive chain. I missed a lot of months doing nothing on hive and just resumed.
So in 2022 I would never miss out a day with blogging on hive
I guess mine will be Inviting more people to this platform
I would be more straight forward, not trying to make everyone happy and act on what I want instead of what is expected from me
Hallo π
Certainly friends @ecency I practice and publish in Hive about yoga, but I have never made a video referring to some yoga postures, I clarify that through Hive I have not only learned to perform this type of teabajo, that is, spend hours and hours writing Through a cell phone and make my publications so that I have obtained excellent results and you can realize that at my age of 69 I can reach the 71st ranking in hive, that is encouraging me a lot to learn and start videos about it from January of next year and it will be my great challenge in life. Thank you for always visiting me and motivating me to continue improving my publications. Success for you, with affection from Venezuela he writes @omarrojas.
Last year my main focus was to have good grades by studying much more and applying new ways of studying. However, sometimes I preferred staying home studying rather than going out with my friends. I didnβt notice I was missing out on so many things until after, when some of my friends had left my home town.
Now Iβm trying to balance both school and my social life which I consider equally important. Therefore, the one thing I would do differently would be valuing more my social life.
Dedicate more time to the important things, and much less the things that are not worth it!
pay more attention to my impulses ...
To live a healthy life. We had a tough year now due to health issues that's why I promised myself to have a healthy lifestyle next year.
In 2021/2022, I will pay more attention to my needs and make more efforts to be understood.
Thank's a lot for the prize of Day#3 challenge.
The one thing I will do differently in 2022 is making time for exercise on a regular basis. This encompasses so much because when I exercise, it reduces my depression. It is an act of self-kindness and self-compassion. Also, it is putting myself first.
I started out well in 2021, but then it devolved into thinking about other people and their needs instead of focusing on my own. Many people mistakenly believe that a focus on the self is selfish, but it is actually essential. If we don't take care of ourselves, we will have nothing to give others.
Imagine if we never plugged in our cell phones. The battery would quickly wear out and then we could get no use from them. Similarly, if we don't recharge our own batteries by taking care of our minds and bodies, we will not be able to be of use.
That is why exercising four to six times per week is my primary goal for 2022. Recharging my batteries.
We know Christmas in my area is a festive season where you travel back home from work to spend your festive season at home. I have been planning to travel after my holiday at my working place, handout with my love ones and feel the atmosphere of ocean again.
I can't wait to travel and enjoying the side view of atlantic ocean and meet all my friends who we have seen each others over one year, playing together, discuss together and eating together.
Going to sleep 2 hours bevore midnight
Good luck! ππ€
Thank you π not possible on those mondays with our crazy yellow bird game π
Have a good monday @ninahaskin
Haha! @beeber
My thoughts exactly - but it's so much fun!ββπ§ π€―
A very happy Monday to youπΉ
What is the one thing I would do differently in 2022 is to balance my time so I can be more active on Hive. I wasn't able to be in control of my time in 2021 due to taking care of my 80-year-old mom fulltime after her heart surgery and broken shoulder. God willing, there won't be any major health issues to deal with next year with my mother or other family members. I also need to figure a way to spend more time bonding and developing a relationship with my infant and pre-toddler grandchildren who are a ten-hour drive away. This is not how I envisioned things would be when I became a grandmother.
Good to hear your mom is doing well :-) But having such great distance to your grandchildren is a challenge to create deep relationchip. 100 years ago everybody would have stay in the same town and now our "families" are different. Seeing my grand nieces growing up was one of the reasons coming back home last year :-) hope you find a way :-)
