One of the ways you enjoy your experience on Ecency is by joining communities. People who have got the same interests and experiences as you, you can read about things that are new and share your experiences, learn different view points, other personal stories in that communities. We all got different interests and experiences, sharing them is part of our learning process and being free.
You can join various communities at the same time potentially connect and make more friends, get hundreds of followers and support on your new content. Joining communities is pretty simple and very easy.
1. Find Communities on top navigation bar
2. Search for the community you want to join
You will find a search bar at the upper right corner of the screen. Enter some keywords of the Community you're looking for, or if you know the exact name, key those in. You will be given a list of results that matches your search.
Ecency gives you another good option of sorting them by a few extra parameters.
3. Join Community
Once you find the community you want to join click on Join to be part of them right away. Another option is to checkout their page and see if you are interested being part of that community first. Each community has description and certain rules, set by admins and moderators of that community. No one else but admin and moderators control/moderate content on that community. Even Ecency cannot take that away from true owners.
You can join community from community page as well. There you can see the whole information about the community and find another choice of joining Ecency community.
After joining you will see new content and posts from community in your My Community feed.
Find list of communities you have joined in your Communities page within your Profile as well.
That's it! You've successfully joined community on Ecency.

I like the ecency front end but I am not sure why I don't use it often. There is nothing to complain about browsing the content, publishing a post and following others. I think why I don't use the platform is because I do not have access to my wallet the way I can access through other front ends. That is the only reason.
What is missing in your wallet page? We have Points, Hive wallet and Engine wallet (operations are being added soon). You can trade Hive and HBD right in Market page https://ecency.com/market. Do let us know if there is anything particular you use daily that's missing.

When I try to leave or join a community I am told by ecency that it failed. How do I fix this?

Reblogging while posting is possible in Advanced section on editor screen both mobile app and website. Posting same content to multiple communities only possible with cross posts.
On android, where is the advanced section and how does one crosspost?
