We are excited to share with you new changes on Ecency.com website (Vision). In this update we have few neat features as well as some major improvements.
What's new
- New Landing Page, first impression is important and this is our initial iteration of improving Landing page on Ecency.com. Check it out and let us know if you like new homepage.
- Curators Leaderboard, to make curation bit more fun we have added top 100 curators list in https://ecency.com/discover. List contain top 100 curators by earning and then sorted by their efficiency factor. Top ones are efficient in their curation in accordance to their Hive Power holdings.
- Author Card, now you can see Author info right on Post page. This is only shown on desktop/computer screens, we are exploring ways to show similar card on mobile browsers. We have been using this for past couple weeks, it is very intuitive and useful. Check it out.
- Read Next, one of the top questions we ask ourselves always, are we giving enough exposure to content even after they are few months or year old. Now, we think we solved that issue to some extend. We hope to see more content discovery organically. Every post now suggest you Read Next section which is as relevant to the post as we can get. Use tags properly and you will get discovered in similar topics.

Welcome to Hive and Ecency. Looks like you have enough Resource credits to post, keep on creating good, content and you will be able to collect Hive Power more and more! 👍
While I'd like to use ecency all the time I have major problems uploading images and formatting them. Even if I format through another front end and copy paste it here at times it doesn't work which frustrates me and leaves memo option but to post using other front ends.
Maybe its time to sort that out.
hey Sofs, yay I think I have the same issue hence I opted to write full content through peakD at Ecency community, much easier as I have tried many times uploading images yet to no avail.
Surely they will look into it.
If you could also help us identify cause we would be happy to fix it asap, What browser are you using? Are you using mobile device or what upload errors do you get?

What browser are you using? We would like to fix it with your help maybe we can find out what browser causing issues.
I use chrome. I have no problems when I used Hive or Peakd as my front end. Now I cannot add two images side by side or align those images if I do.
We are investigating image upload issue, anything else you remember about this issue or any details, let us know.
As for aligning images... Did you try

Sorry, I missed this, I have been using both chrome and Firefox and they both seem to load images without any issues now. Thank you so much.

Hello! @ecency thank you very much for the information which you share, that's really very useful. I am a newbie and i need some help. today i promoted my post for the first time via ecency, the points were taken but i can't see any changes with the promoted post.
I saw that other promoted posts of users have some badges and the posts are shown in different communities. But nothing like this happened with my post. Did I do anything wrong? I will be very grateful if you explained. Thank you!

is there no possibility to choose a path other than C for the desktop app, during the installation process?
It is operating system related, most of the time system gives installer the preferred path. Were you not able to, could you share screenshot?
I just donwloaded the "Ecency-Setup-3.0.16.exe" from: https://github.com/ecency/ecency-vision/releases
double click and it installed automatically in C. no choice for custom path
