A letter arrived yesterday was written 5 years ago by my step mother whom we believed to have killed my father because he died few months before her sudden disappearance.
I live in another state from my family and I share a very good bond with my step mum. Out of all my siblings, I am always on her side in every situation. I guess that is why she felt she owed me an explanation which I believed made her to write the letter five years ago.
Unfortunately, the letter did not get to me till yesterday.
The letter contains a picture of a little girl of about 3years and a DNA result. In the letter she stated that she found out that my dad had been receiving some strange calls from some strange numbers at odd hours of the day which was making him feel restless.
As such she had to step in by getting the number from his mobile phone and putting a call across to it, only to discover that the person at the other end was a woman.
The woman said she has a child for my dad and promised to kill him if he did not provide child support. My step mum in her letter stated that she helped the lady in her own little way and confronted my dad about the child but his ego did not allow him to admit his mistake. So she stopped filling the gap.
She wrote that she had written the letter so that I would be aware of the situation on ground in case anything goes wrong.
I guess her fear was justified because my other siblings see her as a gold digger instead of a mother.

Hmm, men and their ego.
But I find fault with the other woman. How can you kill the father of your child untimely simply because he didn't bring child support.
She should have brought the child to you guys and allowed you all to raise her. Doing so , the father would be forced to cater to the child.
No matter what, I do not support death
What if I tell you that my father knew her as a drug dealer and gang star before getting involved with her.

Interesting one. Usually when it comes to step mom , a bad image is created. But then even step mom can be right in her own ways, is more evident in this letter.
