From my childhood I remember the early snowfalls that were very heavy, we didn't go to school, but before noon we were in the street playing with snow. Pitched battles, throwing huge balls at us. The holidays and sweets were coming: Nougat, marzipan, almonds, chocolate, candied fruits, donuts and polka dots.
Daily games with friends or visiting uncles and spending days playing with cousins, while we impatiently waited for the toys and gifts to arrive on January 6 from the long-awaited Three Wise Men.
When we came to America, Venezuela, specifically, Baby Jesus brought them to us on Christmas Day and we enjoyed them more, until we returned to school on January 7 or 8, but he was already growing to continue receiving toys.
Toys continue to fascinate me, as much as books.
