As the day gradually winds up and coming to an end for us to enter a new day, i was just sitting on my bed and thinking of all the stress and hassles i might have to pass through tomorrow being a monday.
Based on our Calendar and working system where i am from, the week begins on monday and monday generally is know for traffic, excessive work load, stress and literally it’s the major determinant of how your week would turn out.
Navigating through the city of Lagos while going to work on a monday is a job by itself. If you work closer to your place of abode then consider yourself lucky but the irony is a whole lot of us work faraway from our places of Abode and on a daily basis we are tasked with the duty if facing heavy traffic jams to slow moving traffic which gets worse whenever it rains.
We’ve become so accustomed to this live that a whole lot of us naturally have developed an alarm in our heads for us to know when to hit the road and when not to.
Literally if you’re a Lagosian you’d definitely start your day inside traffic and end it as well inside traffic. It is now a part of our daily lives up to the extent that we don’t have to get to the market to get stuffs. Right there in the traffic you can get a whole lot of the supplies you need.
But aside the traffic, i dread Monday’s because if the multiple meetings, briefings and excessive workload.
So what’s your take on Monday’s?
That was exactly what is running through my mind,as the day is winding up.
It is not in any way easier when one remember how the task of the week goes but I always pray for God protection and guidance as we run through the week
Most times i do get lazy and tired to leave my bed on monday morning,i guess it was because i had so much fun during the weekend
