I have been using a variety of Hive frontends for donkey years now. Literally never I have used Hive.blog though and I also have no intention to it. The funny thing is that people do often start on this one, but I have no idea what it adds in the game.
I used to use busy.org in the time before hive become Hive ans I guess it always has to do a lot on what you get youself user to. For the crypto vibes I use inleo and for the photography vibe I go to Liketu.
But for just regular stories I always have used Ecency in the phone browser until started having issues with uploading. Up until last year you were able to get save on points and buy upvotes from it, which was a nice feature if you are a regular user, but that had stopped a while ago already.
So I shifted over to Peakd and I was surprised on what cool features they have in writing your posts and especially on stats. A real enhancement! But I don’t like the scrolling experience through other posts from other people for no reason.
And then I ran into Ecency again, but this time the app version. Using hivesigner for signing transactions makes it easy, because writing through keychain is still annoying for some reason as well on the phone.
So giving this a try to see how it works and if I like this. You are still to collect points and use them for a HP delegation, so that is nice. I like the scrolling through my feed on here and they also have something called waves which I guess are like short posts or what Inleo has on threads.
The cool this is that there are so many frontends and that you can decide on whatever works for you. And in this case I am only talking about using stuff on the phone, because using the desktop it also a totally different ballgame in UX. But how will new users understand all of this? What is the best starting frontend for them?
And what do you use on a daily basis? For me it is all experimentation and see what suits the day, and I guess I will continue to shift in there as well.
But finding out the Ecency app now...I'm getting the hang of it but up until now, I very much like what I see
I like ecency and for mobile haven't found anything that comes close yet, but for normal desktop use peakd is for me by far the best UX; seems a lot more intuitive and well structured.
The app is neat right? Yeah for mobile this makes sense but the mobile browser ecency version is annoying at the moment (at least in chrome it is)
But yeah, peakd for making longer posts and having a big overview is the big winner on the desktop
Yep, mobile app; never used browser on mobile. There was an app called Partiko ages ago that was amazing, fastest mobile experience ever! I was sorry to see the project fade into oblivion.
Sending Love and Ecency Curation Vote!
Follow Eceny's curation trail to earn better APR on your own HP. : )
Good one! Didn’t think in that as yet
You should, because these filters really make managing notifications a whole lot easier and you will never miss any important notification. :)
Hahahha admittingly...I turned most of the notifications off because they were driving me mad. Only replies but not votes. If a curation trial finds you that is just too much haha
That is so true; notifications of curation trials can drive you crazy, but with the help of this notification manager, you can easily avoid that headache.✌️😎
Thank you for posting in the Ecency community
Sending you Ecency points ♥️
Use Ecency every day to boost your growth on the platform!
I have never used hive.blog
I like ecency for fast engagement, but have issues uploading images on it. I know my internet provider does not like it, and it had issues with other providers in other countries.
So I use a combination of peakd and inleo.
Liketu I might use for an alt that wants to upload pictures and pictures!
I like Ecency platform more than you o
