RE: What Are Ecency Boosts? Using Your Points

in Ecency2 years ago

This is great! I pinned it in the Ecency Community and reblogged it on my page. The other thing to consider is that since boosting is a curation project to earn curation rewards that get paid out 100% to Ecency delegators, it makes sense for us to boost posts that are less than 24hrs old. Anyone can apply in Ecency Discord, towards the end of the month when applications are available, to be a guest curator and learn how boosting works!

Thanks for pinning this post, it made my day to know a little more about the good use of ecency points and why they are returned. It's very important what you added in this comment, about voting priority on posts less than 24 hours old, I was missing that too. It makes a lot of sense, to all of us who delegate, it's in our best interest to have the best possible curation rewards. Personally, I'm a fan of Ecency and love everything you offer us.

Have a great day 🤗

Thanks for the Ecency gift - you will never guess how I plan to use it, yeah, boosts and promotes :) - and for this additional information.

Like I said in the post, I had no clue what I was doing when I onboarded through Ecency, but I am so glad now. I was really lucky!

Thanks also for pinning my post 🙏

Thanks for this info, and of course to @pregosauce for the original and very informative post. I have a question on rewards for curators working on boosting project. You say that rewards from this option go to delegators, so people actually making the calls don't get anything tangible? Thanks in advance.

If an Ecency curator votes on another curators post, they receive a 5% Encouragement vote from Ecency. Also, because curators use their own VP to give out the boost votes that calls the Ecency vote to a post, we can also receive curation rewards. You can fill out an application that is available towatd the end of the month in the Ecency Discord #curator-internship channel and possibly be chosen as a guest curator for the month.
