It all started few months after my partner left me.
I'm beginning to find peace through prayers. 5 times a day. Sometimes I woke up around 3am and do the "Sunat Prayers" . I really find my happiness at last.
15th October 2021, my birthday. And that morning itself I've decided and prayed, Please Allah, open my heart and let me do this. Allow me to wear hijab from the deepest of my heart and all because of you (Allah).
So my birthday itself was like a new me. I was reborn and im still need to fix a lot of things in life and asked forgiveness to all my sin before. Im still learning. Slowly I'll get new friends that bring me closer towards my "HIJRAH".
I felt so bless and thankful. When I ask my son, do you like me with or without Hijab, he said "you look beautiful mom with the hijab, I love to see you wearing it." Thats another encouragement for me that I am doing the right things.
Guess what, my journey didn't end yet. All my friends even the one who left me, texting me back and asked about me. Maybe they knew I no longer with that man. So they are free to text me anytime they want.
Some friends sending me gift ,some giving me advice and some even called me just to talk and catching up what we had missed. We laughed , we cried, we give support to each other. Thanks to some of my friends that was always there for me even though they are far.
I felt so lucky. I won't ask anything more than these. I feel bless and thankful. I forgive those who have wrong me, and I asked forgiveness for those who I have hurt before. Seriously, once you do that, its easy for you to sleep at night.
Hi hi.. Mell.. I wanted to write a comment.. earlier when I saw this post.. Great to know that at least u have religion.. Good to see that ur have been looking at the positive side of things. Do keep writing ur thoughts here.. We will all be prepared to read .. =) Ur friends must be really concerned ... by writing so many text.. messages.. have a great week ahead.
Glad you find peace in your religion. On the side note, you need to put your tags into the tag column when you edit your post. That will land your post into the correct audience you choose.
