Pantai Terenggu Pitas is actually a beautiful place. What makes it special for us is that it’s our go-to fishing spot whenever we visit my wife’s hometown. Her family—like her mom, sisters, and nieces and nephews—never miss the chance to join me for a fishing trip there. But ever since it was hit by natural disasters, with strong waves and heavy winds, the beach has been quite damaged. A lot of small structures have been destroyed. Even so, it’s still our favorite spot for fishing by the sea.
