On this occasion I have the pleasure of sharing a small poem entitled "Mar de Palmeras" inspired by the different beaches that my beautiful Island of Margarita - Venezuela has. Well, who has not fallen in love with those giant and slender palm trees that adorn the Caribbean coast? Hope you like. He says like this:

Luminous beacons that sprout from white sand
Dancing with the wind, they still watch the sea
Serene tidal waves that subtly stir my soul
Sun that always tends to bathe in the east.
Exploration many tourists travel in groups
Friends that come and go together
In love under his shadow, a tremendous luxury
Impressed with the sea and everything that is theirs.
Many times in silence I want to enjoy it
Inspire me in your serene and lonely course
And understand the signs of your blue sky
There is no doubt that at dawn the sun kisses you daily.
Firm planted palm trees full of large roots
With their sunset shadow they draw the arrival of the moon
This is how they color the sea with all its shades
And of green vegetation the coconut tree, the mangrove, and the cactus.
Many sweets and delicacies are born from its coconut
In Isla Margarita it is enjoyed in a thousand places
Fruit that refreshes and enchants palates
That's why I like living very close to the mangroves.
Sea blooming decorated with palm tres
Caressed by the breeze that forms traveling clouds
At night your bay is illuminated by the stars
And rejoices with the dew of your seafaring dawn.
