"The Space Fish and the Floating Teacup"
When I opened my eyes, I found myself floating in space. A soft blue glow surrounded me, and something cold was resting on my nose. I reached out to touch it—a teacup! It was hovering mid-air without any support.
"Oh, crap! Where am I?" I muttered.
A throat cleared behind me. I turned around, startled, and saw a strange-looking creature standing before me. It had two antennae on its head, glowing yellow eyes, and a nose that looked like a folded slice of pizza.
"Human, you are aboard our spaceship. We have abducted you!" it declared. Its tone, however, lacked any real enthusiasm—like it was just another routine task for them.
"You… abducted me? But why?" I asked, trying to suppress my growing panic.
The alien paused dramatically. I gulped, only to realize that in zero gravity, my saliva wasn’t going down—it just floated up and stuck to my face.
"We needed…" the alien said, drawing out the suspense.
"We needed… your teacup!"
"What?" I almost screamed. "This teacup?!" I pointed at the floating cup.
"Yes! Our space fish love tea, and Earth's teacups are the finest in the galaxy."
I squinted at the alien, trying to gauge if it was joking.
"So, let me get this straight… You abducted a human just because you needed a teacup?"
"Yes. We tried ordering one online, but it got delivered to the wrong planet. So, we thought, why not just grab one ourselves?"
I took a deep breath. "You know… you could’ve just knocked on my door and asked for it, right?"
"We’re aliens. We don’t knock on doors."
The situation was becoming clear now. If I gave them the cup, maybe they’d return me to Earth. But then, an idea struck me.
"This teacup won’t come for free!" I announced.
The alien scratched its pizza-shaped nose. "What do you want in return?"
I thought for a moment, then grinned. "Give me the technology to keep my phone battery at 100%—forever!"
The aliens exchanged glances, then nodded. "Deal!"
Five minutes later, I was back in my chair, my phone battery permanently at 100%, and the teacup was still in my hand.
"Wait… how did it come back?" I murmured in confusion.
A message beamed down from above: "We just needed a picture. You can keep the cup!"
With a chuckle, I took a long sip of tea. From that day on, I decided to befriend aliens. Who knows? Maybe next time, they’d gift me a high-tech space kettle!
(Moral of the story: Tea is a universal bridge of friendship—whether on Earth or across the galaxy!) 🚀☕✨
