The beauty of the Hive Humpday Hangout shows is that it comes in different formats... Sometimes we have a specific topic we discuss, sometimes we don't have an official topic at all, and sometimes we have special guests who present themselves or/and their projects to the audience! I'm glad that, you guys, pushed me to do these "interview-type" #HHHLive shows occasionally as there is always a lot of fun! And not just that, they bring new ideas, new experiences, new points of view, and a lot of knowledge from our guests! This week, @LivingUKTaiwan came to our show to hang out with us and to present her newest project, Apis Hive!

Created in Canva.com
As the initiative is only ONE WEEK old, many people came to the show to hear about it for the first time, and to get the information from the main source, the creator and leader of the project! It was great to see some familiar names in the show, but also some new people too! Yes, most of you were too shy to come up to the microphone, but the chat channel was buzzing all the time!! Thanks for engaging and helping out in the chat!

To get a picture of what we were talking about, I have created short titbits as a description of the video...I would encourage you to watch the recording of the show, as this time, we had more than just audio interaction as @LivingUKTaiwan shared their screen during the show, explaining the important perks of Apis Hive!
At the beginning of the show, @LivingUKTaiwan shared a bit about herself, her first steps on HIVE, projects on which she was working, and on which she currently works... As we like to hear about the first steps, she shared how it looked for her and from whom she got the biggest support...
Apis Hive Discord... There are plans for doing special sessions to help newbies navigate Hive and grow their accounts...Usually, projects are built to solve a certain problem, so we discussed that and how @apis.hive can help with solving the "retention problem"... For everyone interested in getting support about the project, it is recommended to join the official
Apis Hive! As there is no "get-rich-quick" scheme that works, every growth takes time, and the Apis Hive is there to help you build your consistency, by claiming free "Bees" every day and interacting with the platform... Reaching milestones is rewarded with so-needed Hive delegations, especially for those who have just joined the platform... It teaches them how HivePower works for them too, by appreciating others! The general idea is to help people grow their accounts through gamification... To explain how everything works, @LivingUKTaiwan (LUT) shared her screen and navigated us around the main website,

LUT shared with us her vision and the general idea behind the initiative... It's not to make this a massive onboarding platform, but more as a filter for finding those people who have the long-term vision of HIVE... Those who want to invest in themselves and their growth, to become new leaders that will help others tomorrow!
@jza was the bravest to ask questions on the mic and ask when the project launched and if there were some successful stories to share... As Apis Hive is only a week old, it's too early for that, but LUT shared details of users who joined the platform on the first day, and how some of them didn't miss a day of claiming free bees! Speaking of free things, the platform rewards people who power up (stake) their HIVE with Honey Pots!
As the initiative is focused on people who want to grow on HIVE, there are some specific rules and criteria for joining it... One of them is the Krampus Coefficient (KE) so we talked about it too... You can check out the tool here and see yours KE! During the show, participants had fun sharing their results in the chat... It was great to see that the majority of them are truly great Hivians, according to that tool! 🙂 Proud of you, guys! 😍

Don't forget to check out the show recording below!
Special thanks to @LivingUKTaiwan for accepting the invitation to be a special guest in the show!We had 26 participants (including our guest and myself) in the show this week!!! As usual, we had an after-show where we talked about different topics, but that part wasn't recorded and to participate, you should join the live show!

Liotes website... Of course, if you are not interested in it, you can sell tokens on the Hive-Engine market...Thank you, guys and girls, once again! As a sign of appreciation, I will send some LEN tokens to all participants of the live show! You can pair them with LENM tokens, add liquidity to the diesel pool, and earn rewards! If you want to learn more about the project behind it, check out the @liotes account or visit the
To encourage more people to come on the mic, I usually send additional ECENCY points for those who are sharing things in voice... We had a special guest today, but we had an open mic part of the show where people could ask questions on the mic... This week, only @jza was the bravest to ask questions on the mic, so the additional ECENCY POINTS are going out to him!
Special thanks goes to @melinda010100 and @good-karma for providing the space for the event!
Thank you for your time,

Please share the one that works, thanks

Hi,
Do you mean the Apis Hive Discord link? It works for me... Strange...
This one: https://discord.gg/QgxzRzQRju
Thanks, the one you shared now worked.
Any initiative to help user retention is welcomed, I just wonder how can be done with gamification, it's kinda foggy
Hi there, the problem I see with retention on Hive is that many users were 'lured' here for the earnings. When they don't get that, or it dries up after a few months, they get frustrated and upset and leave. For those who do get whale votes, it comes too easily, becomes an entitlement, and they tend not to appreciate it.
What I want to do is to find the users who are not here primarily for the earnings, those who create good content, engage with people and build their account. Most importantly they appreciate Hive. The idea of Apis Hive is to support them and reinforce their belief (without sounding like a cult 😀).
The gamification part is to help them understand it is possible to grow your account organically. If you put in the work and dedication you will be rewarded with support in the long run from the community. It takes time and you need to have patience that's why the gamification part takes 138 days to earn 320 HP delegation. It's quite long time for not a massive delegation, but anyone is dedicated to doing that and keeping their account in good health during the period, surely has demonstrated their commitment to Hive and their trustworthiness to the community. I am confident there are enough middle class here who will see that and support them.
To answer your point about the 'fogginess' of the program, the end result of the gamification won't make a user rich, at most they will get 320 HP delegation. They may sound like a lot of effort for little return. But it's the process that matters, every action they make will have consequences. Whether its a good or bad one depends entirely on the user's action.
That's true, when I share hive links people immediately see the money earned and go like "oh I can earn 20$ just to write an article", then as you say they don't get attention (or write bad articles) and leave...
I like your program and I think 138 days is a fine number, because you need to avoid delegation to accounts that are just leeching and cashing out any reward earned here, so whoever is needs to show some commitment
And I have the program criterias as well to identify suitable recruits. That will exclude people who don't grow their stake
Aye, i have read them on apis announcement post, seems reasonable for anyone wanting to start a good journey here
Check out the video and the website... Also, if you need more info, you can ask @livinguktaiwan or here on HIVE, or in Discord that I shared in the post... 😉
It was an amazing experience to be a part of this wonderful show. I sincerely appreciate your hosting. Great to know about the new project. Hope to learn more in the next show.

Was a great show. I listened didn't speak and I couldn't stay for the after show. I have confidence APIS will be a success it has some good Hivers involved. Would have been better to to be at the after show as I had to do a blood draw 😐
This project would be good.
It's a nice project and I think its nice to see something there to help out newer users. Great show.
