Jollof rice is a meal cooked with rice, tomatoes , pepper , onions and spices Is a popular dish in the west African Country like Nigeria, Ghana and Gambia.

I will be teaching us on how to prepare Nigerian Jollof rice.
Ingredients used for cooking jollof rice;
- Rice
- Pepper
- Tomato paste
- Salt
- Seasoning cubes
- Vegetables oil
- Carrot
- Nut meg
- Curry and thyme
- Jollof rice spicy
- Chicken or beef
Equipment for preparing jollof rice:
- Pot
- Frying pan
Step 1: wash your chicken with warm and salty water
Step 2: put the pot on fire and rinse the chicken inside the pot ,and add the chopped onions, seasoning cubes and salt and water inside the pot
Step 3: after the meat is well cooked ,put it down from the fire.
Step 4: fry the chicken
Step 5: wash the rice with salt and clean water .
Step 6: rinse the rice inside the pot and parboil for 15mins
Step 7: after the rice have parboil drain the water from the rice and keep the rice aside.
Step 8: put another pot on fire and pour vegetable oil , after that add tomato paste ,pepper ,curry and thyme, nut meg and the jollof spicy.
Step 9: let the sauce fry for 10 minutes,then add water to it and let it boil
Step 10: after it has boil add your rice (the parboil rice) into it
Step 11: leave the rice on the fire in a low temperature and add the chopped carrot.
Step 12 : after that the rice is ready, then serve with the chicken.
You can also make sauce for the chicken ,so that it won't look plain.
