If you are living outside tier 1 countries and do not have access to blogging platforms like newsbreak, vocal.media, Substack, Quora and Hubpages then you must try writing on Hive.blog because the best thing about this blogging platform is that it is available globally.
Now am going to share my strategies to grow on hive.blog and will be using ecency front end because for me it has the best user friendly interface plus a great feature like Boost+ which will grant you 200+ HP so you can have more voting power on the platform.
Here are my strategies which a lot of people might know about but lets discuss them below:
Once you join the hive.blog platform the first thing you need to do is join the ecency discord server https://discord.gg/eMHnwDuKXz there you can ask people for guidance but also you can ask for getting free ecency points and also RC specifically which can help you post more comments and blog posts on the hive.blog platform. Now that you have got more RC you can post more comments hence you get more chance of getting more ecency points.
Now if you garnered over 1500 ecency points just simply go and buy the Boost+ for a week or maybe you can wait to garner 6,000 ecency points so you can buy Boost+ for a month, what happens with Boost+ is that ecency will send you a delegation worth 200+ hp and when someone posts comments on your blog post you can give them a upvote which will be of some financial significance.
Being a newbie on hive.blog can be difficult at the beginning, and hence my advice is to visit a website called hive.vote so all you have to do is add yourself to the curation trail of @bradleyarrow because his curation trail has not only got close to 300 followers but also it is quite active so basically when you post a new blog post you will get minimum of 50 upvotes in no time from that curation trail. If you are an ecency supporter it would be wise to join the @ecency curation trail as well so basically when they curate a post, you will be one of the people upvoting that post. So what happens is if your percentage of upvoting is set to 80 percent, you will be receiving HP rewards for curation of posts.
My last advice is a simple one and a lot of people might not take this into account but maybe it is wise to support ecency platform by delegating some HP to it and hence you will get delegation rewards in the form of hive every day after 24 hours period.
My bonus advice is to use Web3.0 capability of rewarding users for their comments by commenting more on great writers on the platform. in this way you will get ecency points, hbd and HP rewards if your comment is genuine and the author likes it and also the author might reward you with some hive engine crypto tokens as well.

It can be from Medium as everything is Ok on Ecency.
So we are allowed to import our posts from elsewhere to Ecency as long as it is our own writing? I promoted an imported post today but it does not show up in the promoted list, so I went and edited the original post on blogger.com to include a link to this page to make it obvious that we are indeed the same author. I also imported a recent post from another blog, blogger.com, which I published and promoted today on Ecency. I edited my original post on Blogger.com so that it has a link to my post here, making it obvious that both blogs are indeed me and not plagiarism of someone else's blog.
I do not know the rules of importing articles from outside ecency to ecency with canonical links. I will have to ask in the discord server just to make sure.
