Publish0x is a web2 blogging platform that has incorporated some web3 elements, which are paying people to read and write in the form of crypto currency. If you are interested in joining this blogging platform, you can join via my referral link (Affiliate Link Disclosure)
Even though Publish0x has gotten some decent amount of traffic rolling in, as seen in the screenshot in the featured thumbnail still it is behind ecency.com. Let's compare it's January 2025 traffic stats with Ecency.com:
- Total Visits for Publish0x.com In January 2025 are: 350,863 visitors
- Total visits for Ecency.com in January 2025 are: 400,942 visitors
Now it got me thinking why there is a difference in the traffic, and then I realized let me check the devices that people use to find both of these websites, and this is why I stumbled upon the following statistics, which are very important.
- 24.7% of people use desktop apps to find ecency.com and 75.3% use the mobile app to find ecency.com
- 45.2% of people use desktop apps to find publish0x.com, and 54.8& use mobile apps to find publish0x.com.

Seeing from the above image from Google PlayStore, the ecency app has over 50,000 downloads for its app. Now keep in mind Ecency has also released it's app on the apple apps store as well. This means ecency.com has a dedicated mobile application for both Android and iOS, while publish0x.com does not have any mobile application, meaning on mobile people visit the publish0x website using mobile browsers, which lacks the dedicated app features.
Do you mostly use Ecency on desktop or mobile apps?
