Living in the countryside // Simplicity that brings happiness

Good morning to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

Hi everyone, how are you today? I hope you are all in good health and always enthusiastic in carrying out these very boring daily activities. On this occasion I will tell you a little about my life, my daily activities, and the happiness that I create myself.

At the age of just 23 years old, I am still looking for a permanent job that suits me, but I have not found it, I keep trying for it, but fate is still not on my side. But fortunately my grandfather has several plantations so I can earn money from the plantation. As I will tell in this post, namely utilizing coconuts to make money.

On my grandfather's coconut plantation, I also took the time to look for some coconuts that were ready to be harvested, and on the plantation there were also dozens of large coconut trees so that the benefits were really felt.

After collecting the coconuts, I felt very tired so I had to rest immediately. Coincidentally, on my grandfather's plantation there was also an old hut that functioned as a resting place.

Apart from being a place to rest, the huts on the plantations also have many other functions, such as storing plantation equipment, and becoming the most comfortable spot when in the garden.

I felt that I had collected enough coconuts and I immediately took them home. My purpose in bringing the coconuts home was to peel the skin first because I would sell the coconuts without the skin.

I also peel coconut skin using a traditional tool or in our place it is often called "Sundak U". However, I cannot explain in detail about this tool, but here is the shape and skills of the traditional coconut peeling tool.

The tool is made of iron that has been processed in such a way that it becomes a traditional tool for peeling coconut skin, the method is fairly easy for those who already understand it, but for those who do not know how, it will be very dangerous to do it, here are some examples of how to peel coconut skin using this tool.

Don't make it easy, the way we directly stick the coconut into the iron and start peeling the skin by moving the coconut downwards then the skin will peel off. and after the coconut has been peeled I immediately put it in a sack and the skin will be placed in a different place.

All the tools I use are traditional tools, even to do all of that requires special experience and skills, especially considering that the iron used is quite sharp so it will be very dangerous if we do it in a hurry or without knowledge.

Some small children were watching me peeling coconuts.

Maybe this knowledge will also be very useful and beneficial for them when they grow up, this knowledge that is passed down from generation to generation is truly very useful and helps a lot.

And when I was peeling the coconut skin suddenly my grandfather came with his youngest grandson.

Things like this can make me feel very happy, simplicity brings happiness.

So, after I peeled all the coconut skins, I just waited for the buyers to come and pick them up themselves. Of course, I myself did not know how much the price per kilo of coconuts was because after peeling the coconut skins, I immediately handed over the next item to my grandfather.
