I saw before a few Hive blogging frontends consider an "active user" as someone who has made at least one post or comment on Hive during the past 7 days. π€π€―
Do you mean that if you claim an Account Creation Token using your Resource Credits, then it's likely that you would run out of RC for your Hive activities? π€―π

Hahaha...and see, on my scale that would border on being 'inactive', or 'semi-active'.
Yes, claiming account tickets require a huge chunk of RC, and can't even be done until one has quite a large amount of HP, and even then it can drain down RC substantially. π π π β¨ π€

I estimate that a Hive account needs to have about Resource Credits worth roughly 8,000 Hive Power to be able to claim an Account Creation token by simply burning RC. π€
If someone already has that much Hive Power, then I think that his/her Hive activity (especially for commenting about a hundred times a day) needs won't be affected even right after claiming an ACT. π

It's funny, I remember hearing people say that you'd need a bit over 5,000 HP to be able to claim account tickets, but it didn't become available to me until I was 7,000 something.
That would be good if true. There's an option to claim them automatically in the Hive Keychain app, but I haven't tried it yet. π π π β¨ π€

Depending on the recent number of Hive accounts claiming Account Creation Tokens using Resource Credits, the amount of RC required ranges from roughly 4,500 to 8,000 worth of HP. π€π€―
Looks like you don't want to automatically claim ACTs from your RC because you might just run out of RC for publishing comments here on Hive! π

Oh, interesting, I didn't know that there was a variation in the amount of RC required. Yep, that's true. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot and disable my ability to do everything that I need to do on Hive each day. πππβ¨π€

STRIDE
I think that from the time the Resource Credit delegation feature became available, more Hive accounts are able to claim Account Creation Tokens at the same time because multiple Hive accounts can pool their RC into a single account which will then claim ACTs, and that kept the RC requirement for claiming an ACT very often higher than before the RC delegation feature got implemented. π€π€―π

That's also very interesting. I had no idea that pooling RC was a thing, and that in doing so the RC cost to create account tokens increased. That's kind of annoying, actually. π π π β¨ π€
