Greetings again to the entire @ecency community. Today I return thanks to the call made by the friend @mypathtofire, regarding the holidays, such an important moment for every human being, since it helps us to rest, have fun, learn, and do many things outside of the routine. Here I share the invitation he made..
I have many ideal destinations to go on vacation, although I know objectively that this year I will not be able to go to these places, due to reasons of a personal nature, as well as due to the situation in the country; but since dreaming is free, I am going to describe one of my dream vacations, for which I will answer some of the questions that @mypathtofire offers us as a suggestion.
If you do not go, where would you like to go if you could?
Why do you like to go there?
What do you like to do there?
What food do you eat there?
If you do not go, where would you like to go if you could?
If I had the personal possibilities to be able to travel this year, that would be from November to the Gran Sabana, a beautiful extension to the South of my country, Venezuela, specifically in the Bolívar state; which is supposedly a National Park, although unfortunately at present, both official and illegal mining are destroying this natural reserve at an accelerated rate.
Why do you like to go there?
I would choose this site for millions of reasons, I will mention some of them: It is a unique place on the planet, with spectacular landscapes, some corresponding to millions of years ago, because in some areas time has stopped and animal and plant species can be observed extinct in the rest of the planet. On the other hand, it is a magical place, with spectacular energy, I consider it to be like the navel of the planet. I can say that even when my country is in the process of total destruction; even so, I feel proud of my roots, (because Venezuela was not always the disaster it is today), and one of the reasons for feeling this way is that there is such a wonderful, singular, special place in my countr. , as La Gran Sabana is, and I want to know it before one day I die, (we are all going to die one day).
What do you like to do there?
I think there are many things to do there: walk, hike, climb, swim, canoe, meet the indigenous people, learn from them, visit the tepuis, even go to Tepuy Kukenán, which tells some stories that are enchanting, that the people disappear there. I would take many photographs, I would contemplate the starry sky (IT MUST BE SOMETHING SPECTACULAR), I would learn from the people who live there, I would meet plants, I would collect seeds, stones, I would like to know their legends, their stories... I would have a thousand things to do, a thousand landscapes to observe A thousand places to visit, I wouldn't get bored.
What food do you eat there?
Well, even though I am in the process of transitioning to veganism, I doubt very much that I would eat meat, what I would eat are all the plants, grains, fruits, tubers that grow there. I would really like to see the indigenous techniques up close, how they gather their food, how they prepare it. In La Gran Sabana there are unique plant species that without a doubt I would like to eat, I would love to drink its water, which according to some not very well-known scientific studies, say that it is the water with the highest energy charge on the entire planet. It would be a gastronomic and sensory experience unique and unforgettable.
This has been the description of one of my dream vacations, because I'll be honest with you, I have many more. I hope one day all of you can also meet La Gran Sabana, before human ambition destroys it.

Thank you for sharing such a great holiday about La Gran Sabana. I did not hear of this place before, but it looks and sounds truly fantastic. I hope that you will get to visit it soon one day.
Hi @mypathtofire!
Canaima, La Gran Sabana are emblematic sites of my country, Venezuela. In fact, the landscapes of the movie "Avatar", as well as those of "Up", are inspired by these spectacular, magical, unique and ancient areas. Thanks for coming to comment, a big hug!
Here is a trailer for the movie "Up!
That is good to know. This film was very popular with my kids!
Sounds like a good plan to me. would love to join you on this one and explore this magical corner.
I did also hear about the quality and properties of the water there. so what you write is yet another confirmation of that. thank you for sharing. thank god dreaming is still free ; )
saludos !
Ohhh, it would be great to go hiking together, it must be super exploring this magical place. The properties of water is something that is not even discussed here, it is not said, it is not valued, it is not appreciated by the agencies in charge (well, there are no longer any scientific organizations left in Venezuela).
Once, while researching about water, I came across a study done by some Russians about it, and supposedly the vibratory rate of this water is 40,000 times higher than any water on the planet; that is why many foreign ships are seen collecting water in certain uncontaminated areas of La Gran Sabana, Canaima and Amazonas.
¡Un gran abrazo @bigorna1!
Yes ! I have seen a documentary in some point and was blown away. amazing.
