Centrosema virginiana( Butterfly PeaSpurred , Butterfly Pea )

Hi hive lovers how are you guys? I hope you are well and happy today.

Meet again with my blog which this time presents some photos of a flower called Centrosema virginiana another name for Butterfly PeaSpurred some also call it Butterfly Pea, I got this flower photo around the housing complex where I live and this flower grows on unkempt land and many wild plants grow in this location including plants that produce these beautiful flowers so you can say these plants are weeds. even though it is a weed, according to some sources, it can make barren land fertile .

The plant's extensive root system is useful for growing soil. This species has a symbiotic relationship with certain soil bacteria that form nodules on roots and fix atmospheric nitrogen. Some of this nitrogen is used by plants that are growing, but some is also used by other plants that are growing nearby. Butterfly Pea has purple flowers, single or 2 to 4 in the axils of compound leaves. The flowers of this delicate showy vine are known for their "upside down" position. Butterfly Peas prefer dry or moist soil that is well drained and can grow in nutrient-poor soils and sandy soils. It does well at acidic, neutral and slightly alkaline pH and tolerates moderately acidic soils. It prefers full sun and tolerates partial shade, but cannot grow in deep shade, and can tolerate drought. source article

Wild flowers have the best smells.. l usually pick lillies when walking in my neighborhood and hand them to strangers 😅 ..its just so nice making someone smile unexpectedly. The wild flowers ability to grow around the most worst of places is always a lesson on your surroundings don't become you

In my country they are not called butterfly peas, we know them as Centrosema and they certainly prefer dry or wet soils.
