People especially the children are always told what's right and wrong to say. They believed it's not all words that are supposed to come out of there mouths. It's really not good at all, it's a norm which has done more harm than good over the decades. It needs a stop. No matter the gibberish you may think that that they are spewing there will be an atom of truth in it.
Down to my story line
Ovy was a promising young girl who doesn't talk. For years she has been like that. Ovy was a young entrepreneur who is good at what she does despite her condition . She is a great event planner who proves to everyone that there is great ability in disability. Her work was her upmost piority.
She met Dave a Young promising man who works in an oil company. He was very lovely and caring. Along the line they found interest in each other and started dating . The long run was going very smoothly as the man loved her unconditional and was willing to jump through hurdles with her.
Ovy visited him one day, along the line she broke into tears crying profusely.Davy couldn't fathom a thing as he kept asking her what the problems. Ovy called him by his name ***Dave***, he was surprised would not suit his mood. He ran out to understand the clear scene of the cinema. After some minutes he came in and they began to talk things out.
She narrated how she was a victim of abuse and molestation by her own Father with constant warning not to say a thing. How she finally summoned courage and reported the issue to her mother who in turn bashed her that such words are not supposed to come out from a child's mouth without further investigation on the matter. She was not given a listening ear which is her reason for not talking for years because to her Ovy's voice seems unheard.
The parents made efforts towards her condition which yielded no positive results. She ran from home started with menial jobs , by God's Grace and Mercy she later grew to the CEO she is now. Davy felt very bad and gave her a warm passionate and assuring hug that's all is going to be well.
Her parents has tried to no avail to reach her with all possible means they knew off.
Davy helped her back home. Her parents were happy there daughter was back finally. Ovy melted her dissatisfaction towards them. They were in great shame after realizing the faults. Ovy later forgave them and they lived happily after.
Dave was happy for her,later on he proposed to her she accepted. They had a very beautiful traditional and white wedding and there martial bliss was blessed with beautiful and lovely children two boys and two girls.
We all have rights to speak in the society be the children likewise the female and male gender . I just think people should be allowed to ease there minds through speaking no matter the words.
Just as it affected little ovy it has affected, many people are victims today in one ways or the others. It has really leads to low self esteem, unproductive society e.t.c
Freedom of Speech is one of our fundamental Human Rights and should be given to all.

Ovy's father has really done bad, how could he has done that to his innocent child, it was very wrong of him, I am happy that ovy could see to the reasons to forgive him because despite what may have happened, it doesn't change the fact that, he is still her father.

Children should be taught to speak up at all times and when they do, they should not be shunned.
Yes my dear they should be allowed to express themselves.
A very interesting and unfortunately also a very relatable story to many ladies out there today. It's even more unfortunate that adults are passive enablers of this hideous act with many shutting up these kids, thinking they are too young to understand any of these things.
It is sad for real and we've got to learn to do better and listen to kids more and what they have to say, we need to start lending them their rightful voices in order to curb these crimes.
