Sour curry with snakehead fish and pickled bamboo shoots, made by me in my garden.

Hello everyone, today I would like to invite you to cook delicious food to eat at home. The menu that I have brought to you today is sour curry with snakehead fish and pickled bamboo shoots. The main ingredients come from my own garden, including pickled bamboo shoots that I fermented myself and snakehead fish that I just caught from the pond behind my house. Being able to cook food with ingredients that I grow and raise myself makes me feel very proud and happy.

It's been raining a lot lately. The humid weather like this makes me want to eat spicy food. Sour curry is another menu that can meet this need very well. The sour, salty, spicy, well-rounded taste helps to stimulate the appetite. In addition, using ingredients that are grown and raised by yourself in cooking makes you confident that they are fresh and safe from chemicals.

Ingredients and ingredients

1 snakehead fish
200 grams of pickled bamboo shoots
2 tablespoons of red curry paste
1 tablespoon of shrimp paste
2 tablespoons of fish sauce
1 teaspoon of sugar
2 tablespoons of tamarind juice
4 cups of water

Clean the snakehead fish and cut into bite-sized pieces. Clean the pickled bamboo shoots and cut into sections.

How to make

Put water in a pan, add curry paste and shrimp paste, add pickled bamboo shoots, simmer until the bamboo shoots are tender.

Season with fish sauce, sugar and tamarind juice. Taste and adjust to your liking.

Then add the snakehead fish and simmer until the fish is cooked. Scoop into a bowl and serve with hot steamed rice.

How was it, my friends? I hope you like this menu. See you next time.🥰👩‍🍳
