Foreword
Good day everyone! A little late with my update on my Hive progress for this month. I would have to say that things are going on a little slow and I definitely have to increase my pace in order for me to be able to reach the goals I've set for myself to achieve by the end of the year. So march on steadily and quickly!
2025 Goal Progress Check
Primary Goal: Reaching 18k HP by 31st December 2025
Secondary Goal: Stretch primary goal and push towards 20k HP by 31st December 2025

To be honest, at this stage coming into the 3rd month of the year and progress is a little stagnant and slow, much needs to be done on the catch up. Towards the primary goal, I will need to average about 800 HP gain per month which is definitely no easy path to achieve. But I will continue to persevere and try to inch closer and close to the goal day by day.
And right now the bearish market does give rise to a potential opportunity to gather more HP since prices are low. I will be looking out for opportunity to trade and increase my HP when I have enough time market trends and prices.
Enablers for Goal
There are a couple of things that have worked well for me in 2024 and I know these are key enablers for my goal in 2025. Let's go through them 1 by 1.
Blogging on Hive Blockchain
Blogging and sharing content with the community is one of the key enablers for my growth and I see a growth in average 500 HP growth in the first 2 months. However, if we need to gather approximately 800 HP per month, while the amount is very substantial, this speed is not enough and we need to look further into the other aspects to help me gather more HP.
Layer 2 Token Management
While we blog and post, it is not just hive that we gained, with the correct use of tags based on their rules and adding them to our blog post, we also gain respective layer 2 coins as well during payout. For these coins that we gain, you can either stake them to get more of it or repurpose them to other tokens. I do stake a couple of them and repurpose quite a fair bit of them to build up key tokens that give me passive hive or swap.hive which I will list them down below.
Liquid Hive Sources:
Holding EDSI (previously EDS) tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.107 HIVE per week.
Holding DAB tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.008 HIVE per day.
Holding SIM tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.020 HIVE per day.
Holding BRO tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.038 HIVE per week.
This totals up to 0.341 HIVE per week a slight increase HIVE per week from previous record which this time round came from hold SIM tokens which I try to get more on a daily basis through managing game NFTs and time to time, adding more through repurposing other layer 2 tokens to boost its amount. Will describe more in the next segment.
SWAP.HIVE Sources:
Holding BBH tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.00657 SWAP.HIVE per week.
Compared to previous, this is an increase and I am actively trying to build up assets related to BBH and BBHO.
dCity.
The game that which is instrumental in SIM accumulation. And SIM is one of my key passive Hive gainers. By actively improving my city income, there will be daily drips of liquid Hive into my wallet. It is easy to pick up and has low barrier to entry. I will definitely continue to maintain the city proper and find opportunities to pick up building/citizen cards from the market to bolster my SIM accumulation. I am also currently working towards building 1 million SIM to get to a new milestone as well.

My mealtime/commute free to play game that allows me to continue buying more miners to mine out more LTC and also the in game RLT coin. Slow pace but I think when needed and might be able to give me a boost in terms of my HP should I fall short at the end of the year. Now my bulk is still mainly on RLT which I am using them to get more miners which will in turn gather me more LTC which can be move into Hive blockchain to get me more HP.
Closing
I am a little worried on the current pace of my growth and will probably have to seek additional work to gather more HP more through the passive portion to add on to the HP gained by my regular posting. These will help to set me on course towards meeting my goal towards the end of the year. While I do work on my goal, I still love interacting in the community through Ecency Waves and Peak Snaps to know more people in the chain. Cheers to this amazing blockchain!
