Amazing clip, this is going on youtube!!
The perfect definition of Web3.
the essence of it.
Most people do not would like to control the platform. They just would like to have a socially properly working platform.
Traditional social networks can certainly provide that.
Web 3.0, or at least Hive is different.
At least nowadays.
There is a general lack of real interaction, and also general lack of actual interest in the content.
Both as a content creator and as a content consumer, and the latter side is nowadays only a very little, tiny fraction.
Even the so called curators are often do not even see the content they curate, because their upvotes are automated.
On Web 3.0 (at least on Hive), nowadays most people focus on the rewards, instead of the content, and this is how they socially ruin the platform.
Nowadays even the smallest Facebook groups (for example with a few hundred members) have more interaction than the Hive blockchain in general.
And Hive is centralised around those, who have a high amount of stake. Most other posts are mostly ignored/overlooked.
The decentralisation on Hive nowadays is rather an illusion.
it probably depends on personal experience.
in the last week i muted over 200 fake bot accounts on X. And i only muted those i 100% know are fake bot accounts (for a lot of them i actually spent time and found profile photos from real people around the world. because they are trying to influence a narrative, and they use "real" full names and they take profile photos from nationalities that are close to those they want to fake)
i don't remember when i had a normal conversation on youtube.
to be honest i don't really use facebook for the last 4-5 years so can't say much about the state of it now.
i am 100% sure that there are at least 50 people on Hive around the world that would meet with me if i sent a message that i am in their part of the woods.
I have not used X so far, only Facebook.
And in the proper Facebook groups, people always reply, even in very small groups, for example with a few hundred members.
Especially with unique content.
I rarely write comments on YouTube.
I mostly watch videos, and I read comments. If you look for entertaining videos, then you can see that the comments are often funnier than the video itself.
And if you look for a conversation, then it is probably best to watch educational videos.
Good for you, if Hive is socially properly working for you. Socially it works only for a very few people.
It is very hard to find/reach people on Hive, who are actually interested in the content, even with unique contents, which are naturally standing out on other, socially properly working platforms.
Maybe I can put this in the youtube description 🔥🔥🔥
Yes. Facebook, YouTube, and basically any other traditional social network is better in the social aspect than Web 3.0 (or at least than Hive). Because the people on them actually care about the content.
