Stubbornness, Determination or Both?

in Ecency7 months ago

Has my stubbornness, determination or both been the reason why I managed to complete this project? Is there a difference?

Hi everyone, Zak here from Cape Town, South Africa.

Ove the past month and a half I have manged to do two big things in my life.

1: I managed to complete the project on the above picture. A gruelling project that took 47 days to complete and most of those days were working 12 hour shifts from 7am till 7pm.

2: I managed to do the above project AND still keep on consistently blogging on Hive, spending time with the family, cooking etc.

I had to power down a whack of 300HP and I regrew that 300HP in 32 days of consistent and motivated effort.

I shall be pushing ever onwards now, since my next stop is becoming an Dolphin.

Is there a difference between stubborn and determined? Indeed there should be a distinction between the two terms.

Determined is about digging in and not letting go despite adversity.

Stubborn is about not letting go despite it being stupidity.

It would be impossible for me to apply base stubbornness to this environment and my life because you cannot WIN at everything at the same time. You have to choose what to pick up and what to let go.

When you can do that, despite some losses, you can make sure that you win in the areas that matter the most to the overall picture.

May you all have the DETERMINATION to see your goals through and the wisdom to not become STUBBORN in the way that you think!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Thank you for reading!

Cheers!

Being organized sufficiently not to let any team down, always good to push on to completion in setting goals set out.

Interesting bit of research on your massive job completed, "SS Nujoma is the sixth diamond exploration vessel to join Debmarine Namibia's fleet." I was wondering with the unusual features what the intended work for this vessel is.

Mostly this vessel's main job is to map out the ocean floor and prospect for the fleet's production. It does also have the ability to process a fair amount of gravel, but mapping is its main job as far as I can find out.

Always interesting when you see unusual equipment onboard to find out more of what it's used for. Have a great day!

Cheers! You too!

Thank you so much!
