Ah yes the The Three Stooges it was much talked about by my mother and sister it's still talked about on TV from time to time now, they were indeed great but didn't know or don't remember this about Curly, what a wonderful man, amazing to think he was protecting dogs like that before some of the bigger guys started getting their projects set-up.

There are probably many stars that do something similar now but it is hard to believe that they aren't simply doing it for IG followers or for self-serving reasons. There was no press about this back in the day and Curly was not doing it for publicity. He was one of those stars that just wanted to be left alone and didn't actually want any recognition for his actions. He is a doggo hero for sure.
