I noticed it a couple of weeks ago, when the following photographs were taken.
As far as I can remember, no plant ever grew in this place.
It was a highly unexpected find.
Nothing spectacular to look at, really. But the fact that there was this little plant in the place where I'm washing my dishes on a daily basis, and it was certainly there at least a couple of days before I noticed it - well, that was something ... almost spectacular. And a bit weird too.
I don't know what kind of plant is this. Many young plants are a bit like newborn humans. They all look the same. No big differences at this stage.
I continued washing the dishes very carefully in the following days, in hope to see what kind of plant will grow out of that small two - leaved thing. But the plant died. Withered. It lasted about a week ... ten days or so.
And that's it. Hope you enjoyed this little vignette from my messy kitchen.
As always in these posts on HIVE, the photographs are my work.
indeed, life is everywhere!!
a good (in my opinion, ofc) kind of post for Amazing Nature community!
This means that your parenthood only lasted 10 days ha ha ha ha, I say it because you say that all newborns are very similar, but no, no, they are different ha ha ha ha, well it all depends From the perspective, seriously, I suppose that some seed fell silent and while you were washing the dishes you poured water on it and thus the plant was born, and it has already died :)
:D
Maybe it needed more light. Kind of sad. Also, a reminder that as soon as we move out or move on, other life is going to move in. Just looking for a place where it can flourish.
Apparently, not in your kitchen sink :)
I thought about it being a tomato plant ... used to grow them ... strange that it would lodge right there ... a little visitor for a little while...
I agree with the others, I think it was a tomato. They are very heavy feeders and don't do well with stressors. Either one could have caused it's demise.
Awww @borjan this is so cool. The fact that you immortalized it by photographing it, it has earned it's place on the blockchain.
I think it was a tomato. Nature perseveres against all odds, even when you throw the kitchen sink in the mix.
Thanks for sharing, I think it's cool of you.
Cheers

Ahhaa😍 cute little plant❤️🌱
Poor little plant. It actually looked like a tomato or if not that, a pepper. Have you been eating either of those?
Could be a tomato. I eat tons of tomatoes during the summer.
Mystery solved!
Amazing details.....
