Crypto payments are creeping in on us at a pace that looks slow but realistically 2021 have seen rise in merchants accepting cryptocurrency from the likes Tesla amongst other notable companies and the list continues as cryptocurrency spreads into aspects of life.
Mobile payments firm HIPS and Nordic taxi payment rail The Payment House have partnered to allow cabs in the UK and Scandinavia to accept cryptocurrencies over the Ethereum blockchain, according to an announcement Monday.
The deal means that 10,000 taxis in the UK, and 20,000 in Scandinavia can use the payment gateway after it debuts in a beta test in November.

On Ethereum blockchain? Yes! same question I asked myself if you are asking yourself the same about gas fees.
While it is a move that would contribute to crypto adoption at whatever scale possible, one can dismiss the idea of utilizing Ethereum blockchain for taxi crypto payments due to gas fees but the guys behind the project were clever enough to have the payment system smart contract friendly with various chains.
Therefore they Cardano and Solana is on next to be utilized for crypto payment processing after Ethereum.
Few years ago we were not here, all that was know to us was Bitcoin and trading cryptocurrency, blockchain/cryptocurrency continues to grow we are now DeFi-ing, crypto payments are on the rise as well as other use case.
We are advancing towards a digital world quite rapidly!

Hive is the best of all of them, the fee is nothing as compared to others.
May be in the coming years Hive will be more popular

It is an awesome concept, eliminating high transaction fees, we should see more numbers following suit.

I was looking at a script one time for an Uber replacement built on Tron, but then my buddy dug into the code and found all kind of back doors, so I scrapped that idea for the time, lol
Whenever Tron is involved one must double and thripple check I think 😃
I can't 100% recall now but I think there was talks over Uber accepting crypto payments 2-3 years ago

With the way tax laws are in the US, it discourages the spending of crypto and using it more as a stock or property. I think that is one big thing... but... stablecoins on the other hand... that I am trying to educate retail, especially cannabis shops, about stablecoins.
How is it going with the Stablecoin you sharing with retail? Hopefully you not finding it difficult passing the knowledge across.
