Sometimes we see lawmakers, government officials having to comment about crypto and the comments are most times having naivety all over it. It's either they have no clue what crypto is or trying to full the society by hiding the potentials of crypto.

So when senator Cynthia Lummis announced on Anthony Pompliano’s podcast she intends on launching a financial innovation caucus, I see that as a means of enlightening her fellow senators and ultimately opening them up to crypto and having them make meaningful conversation on crypto as opposed to bashing it.

We hope to use it as a springboard to educate members of the U.S. Senate and their staff about Bitcoin specifically, but about other opportunities for cryptocurrency and financial innovation and blockchain

The advantages of this move can be beneficial especially in ways of regulating crypto and not shutting its potential out. A nation that is open to crypto and blockchain technology have the opportunity of being ahead innovation-wies compare to others.

From a woman that bought her first BTC back in 2013 and believes BTC represents a good store of value, it is a good move from her as she intends spreading the knowledge.
May her fellow senators receive crypto education with open mind.
