To the times I bought low and failed to sell high..
To the times I bought low and they went lower...
To the times I bought high, chickened out and sold low....
To the times I didn't buy and completely missed out.....

This crypto thing is hard and this present dip has only shown that a lot of people who you think have got a hang of this sphere are just as plebishhh as every other person, if you can relate with any of the lines above then congratulations you are among the few who are getting it right, except the fourth line, because the worst thing one can do is do nothing at all.

Rationally it is expected that after getting a lot of L's in a game, at a point, a Win should show up with all things being equal, however this happens to be different in Crypto. According to my experience, your Win appears in the midst of trying out a bunch of stuff, most times you don't see it coming, it just happens. A lot of people who bought Bitcoin cheap can attest to this, it explains why some lost their wallet keys, I mean, if you knew the asset you got for 3$ could be worth $10,000 nearly a decade after, I bet you will protect the keys to that asset with utmost care.

Some crypto projects will have you feeling like you just hit a gold mine, you want to put everything you have into it, others will look like outright scams you want to have nothing to do with, you think you know what you're doing, but at the end of the day you're rather filled with questions as to why your expectations don't match the results, its the norm around here.

In my moments of trying out many things in Crypto, I did make a bunch of L's but I also made some W's with my most notable being the LeoFinance project. I loaded up most of my holdings when it was worth around only $0.03 many months ago, seeing them go all the way up to $0.126 and finding support around $0.08 makes me feel like I've done something right, I guess that's the minimum kind of increase everyone expects to have from an investment.

And so it actually happens that I could grow my quantity of holdings if I push the right buttons at the right time, but something is holding me back from making those moves, could I say its fear? Maybe. The gut involved in jumping into the ocean is sure different from the one involved in swimming around that ocean and reaching its depths.

All the times I bought Hive and thought it was low, it only took a couple of day's to realize that it was going to go much lower and I could have only waited to buy much more. It's traumatizing especially seeing the current price and not being able to take advantage of it because you're out of fiat urghhh!

To the times I didn't buy and completely missed out.....
I guess the worst thing one can do is do nothing at all, and for this I'm taking the last bit of my HBD and sticking it up Hive's ass!

Thanks for reading my rant...

Only bosses know how to take losses, winning is not about beating the market or the system it’s about taking the hits and still keeping on going forward! Like anything in life, you need to devote time, energy and capital to become a master

Thanks for that chekohler....on the way to becoming a master....slowly and steady

The first ones through the door always get a bloody nose, you’re so way ahead of the curve what you learning now others will need to catch up to, being early can sometimes feel like being wrong

When I look around myself this is so true, everyone who gets a chance to meet me has one or two things to learn on a massive scale as long as they are willing...I'm honestly glad to be early in this space, the nose bleeds will be all worth it eventually.

I try to tell myself that every day but I sometimes have my doubts but I can't see a better game in town that I can step into, I really hope we are all right, I have a lot riding on this lol

In the past when things look "too good" I traded coins for USDC but this time I lost faith in the dollar and just decided to HODL. Well its easier if you don't mind a little red. So far it has always gone up later sometimes much later.

Happy hunting 😊

Thanks mineopoly, you're right about it going up later, its really a game of patience at the end of the day, looking back at bitcoins inception, a $10,000 price mark after a decade must have felt like too long, but I'm sure those who held through certainly feels it was worth it even though there were massive jumps inbetween.

You nailed it! It takes a special person to make a living out of this maze.
If we approach it firstly as self education and secondly as a journey of wonder we will win, perhaps not financially, but at least our expectations will be tempered and we won't be prone those senses of loss and fomo.

If we approach it firstly as self education and secondly as a journey of wonder we will win

This is super important, no knowledge is wasted...I'm here for the entire package and soaking it all in.

Thanks for your encouragement!
