And I remembered I have some BAT in my Uphold wallet that I received FINALLY from Brave rewards, so I decided to move it to my other wallet and do something with it.
Last few months, Brave payouts have delayed big time, but better late than never I guess.
I went ahead and tried to transfer...

I know the ETH gas fee is just ridiculous right now but 10 BAT for a transaction is pretty expensive too. It costs about $3 to take out BAT?
I don't think so... I guess I will just HODL it in Uphold for a while...
Any other way to withdraw BAT for free? or cheaper fee?

Yes. It is so crazy expensive to transfer that everybody HODL. Good or bad - I dont know. I have the same problem for transfer my enjin

Looks like the fees came down. It was 30 BAT to withdraw at one point and I only have 13 so you know I wasn't going to withdraw. π

Yeah, its because of the fees on the ETH network thanks to DeFi. Everyone trying to make gains so the blockchain is being used a lot likely with smart contracts. Whales don't care about the fees as long as they can get their smart contract in the next block.
Think about it, would you care about $1k in fees if you do a $400k transaction and make $89k profit when its done?
I know... DeFi is for the riches now. I can't do it but if you have money, you can definitely make tons of money there

You are smart. I am no rich I tried DeFi and all my rewards are gone and more by the the expensive fees...
Why not swap for BTC in the wallet as an example, and make a profit with the price appreciation.
I thought about trading to ETH but I didnβt like the fee... but BTC ETH are going up so trading is a good idea I guessπ
I moved some bat last month from uphold to coin base. I'm pretty sure they charged me for it. Something else I've noticed is they charge you for incoming bat as well. Look at your transactions ledger.

Ok. It wasn't in the ledger, but someone sent me some through Twitter. I knew how much it was supposed to be, but i got somewhat less than that. It's been a month or so, so i can't daddy for sure what the numbers were.
