RE: Why Look Up

in Reflections26 days ago

For instance, most of the people I knew at school were pretty decent one on one, but once the group dynamics came into play, the cultural learnings of their family and society banded together to change their actions.

It made me think about my college classmates, most of them are different individually. Personally, I don't recognize myself much when I'm with my group, without a doubt I behave differently, and sometimes I feel like I have to fight against a very strong tide. However, in this case, it's not that they're indecent or anything like that; I went back to studying this year, at age 30, and most of my colleagues are at most 25, so it's a different level of maturity, and I find myself easily influenced by the types of subjects and behaviors. The strength a group has is absurd. By the way, what is the name of the book? I'm very interested!

When you went back to study, are you coming from work? There tends to be a difference in the way it is approached from someone who has worked for a living, or someone that has only been a student.

I don't know if I understand your question very well, but I've been working in marketing for a few years. However, I recently discovered that my passion is literature, so I decided to take the entrance exam to study Literature focused on French literature. Therefore, I am studying for love, I want to change careers when I finish the course, I intend to be a teacher and researcher.
