Recently someone told me that I behave like two different people. At first I thought they were joking, but they actually seemed serious. I laughed for a while, obviously I know I'm one person, but it really got me thinking (as most things do, hehe). Do I act like different people?
I began trying to look at myself but not from my own eyes, the eyes of other people. People I've met in different circumstances and situations. Who do I look like in their eyes? Well obviously I realized there's really no way I can know for sure how different people see me, but then I can just try to see what part of me I have shown.
To some I'm smart, nice, and funny, to some I'm dumb. To some I am easy going, chatty, amiable, focused (surprised with this one honestly) and reliable.
To some I relate well with people, to some I'm shy and can't seem to communicate with people. To some I'm lazy. To some, thoughtful, and friendly. To some I don't seem like I care about people's feelings and I'm too blunt. To some I'm an overthinker, while to some I'm analytical,to some I am just that guy that likes to talk about football, to some I'm just that average chess player.
To some I'm that strong hearted guy, while to some (very few) I'm just a big sensitive baby. And then to some (even fewer) I'm just an epitome of evil and wickedness. To everyone I'm curious (that's one part of me that doesn't seem to hide no matter what). I realized that all of these sides that different people see all add up to form the big chunk that's me. Without these small parts that some only get to see a piece of I wouldn't be me.
Everyone has different sides of them, and they get to choose whether consciously or unconsciously what side of them they display to others depending on the scenario. It's normal.
Therefore I wouldn't say I was acting like a different person, rather I would say I was displaying more of myself to the person. As time goes on when you get closer to people they get to really know you and you get to really know them. It is a good thing because it helps you know whether they really connect with you or not and ultimately being with people you connect with will always be better than being with those you don't.

One of my lecturer said " you are the one what you guessing other people thinking about you".

Since there are so many people on the planet with different personalities, I think there are different personalities we have to different people—because one cannot just be the same to everyone.
I am different things to different people as well, and many people have different opinions about me, although some of them are shallow. In the end, people are entitle to their opinions and there would always be dominant traits of myself here and there regardless.

We are all more entities in one. I never show my true colors in a group I just met. So I am one of multiple persons in one and I like it hahaha

It is what others think about you that they will say you are depending on the angle they are looking at you from.
A number may be 6 to me and be 9 to someone standing opposite.
