I think my biggest folly is the fact that I look to some point in the future (like an event, holiday, or trip) and I fail to appreciate the time in between all of that. Most of the time the thing you are looking forward to finally arrives and then it is over in the blink of an eye. At that point you are left thinking about all the time you wasted in anticipation of that single event. It's a continuous journey I am on to fix that.

That's a good pick up, that you do that. Being present in all of our moments makes best use of more if our time I guess. It's nice to have those events/trips to look forward to though. Finding value more often seems the best way though, all the little moments add to a great life when combined.
