I agree with you on the outside threat thing. Apparently in the US there has been a lot of hatred that has just been stewing for a long long time. I guess shame on us for being blind to it or assuming it had went away. I know you aren't religious, but a state of love is a very Biblical ideal.

In some form, it appears in all religions I assume, because it is probably what we naturally seek as a human ideal. It is attractive.

It is the same everywhere to some degree, but it is quickly revealing itself.

That's really sad about the last part. I guess I was optimistic thinking we are better than that now. Yeah, I got thinking about it that most all religions probably have a little bit of the "love one another" vibe to them.
