After a couple of weeks without showing up here, I have decided to come back to my weekly reflections. I was going through an illness before, and I was forced to take rest. Now that I'm well and the blockage I felt to write has disappeared, I'm ready to share my ideas with you.
A few days ago a friend appeared to me with an initiative in Hive, in which I had to explain how gratitude has influenced my life. My answer was clear, since it took me a long time to do the necessary introspection to write that post. As I said there, gratitude is something that connects you to the here and now. Starting to practice gratitude in my day to day I have also been able to realize about the joy of being alive. Now all things, no matter how small they may seem, I see them as a gift worth appreciating.
I was also reflecting a lot thanks to the post by @mipiano in which she raises a very interesting question for us. Inspired by Emily Dickinson's life asks us, is life for living or for creating? Since this is a topic that I am passionate about, I did not hesitate to comment. It all depends on the point of view in which you want to appreciate life. For me, life is found everywhere. The little things, the insects, the particles that we sometimes see in the air. So, when we are really awake and really spend time observing what is going on around us, we find out that inspiration is everywhere.
And the fact that coincidentally there were two people in the digital medium inspiring me to be more aware makes me very excited. Once again I notice with force that the human being is by nature a social being. Now, thanks to computer science, we can interact with people who are many kilometers away. The point here is to analyze whether the people with whom we interact on social networks and websites are really contributing to our experience on earth.
So much for today's post. I hope I won't lose the streak again so I can interact more often in this community. We will meet soon, very soon. Until next time!
