Ha! This is funny. The very first thing I thought about doing when I saw your post said it was your birthday was to look up a version of your birth chart. Ha! Professional habit. I can't quite help myself as I love knowing more about people. (For the record, I looked up your Human Design chart based on "Eastern Time tonight". It's similar to astrology but... different. *If you do happen to know what the exact time was and you want a strange birthday present, let me know: I'll be happy to tell you what your birth chart tells you about you :P)
In other news, LotR: LOVED the movies. I tried reading my Dad's very old, awesome books (after completing The Hobbit) when I was a young adult and I just found them too dense. In hindsight, I wish I had tried again before the movies came out because J.R.R. Tolkien really was such a genius. But alas, now that I've seen the (brilliant) movies I can't quite get myself to read the books. I think because I don't actually love reading (I much prefer listening) it just feels too much like hard work. My loss, I'm sure.

Just for you, I asked my mom what time I was born when they called to wish happy birthday. She said it was at 7:40. Now in those days Indiana didn't follow daylight savings time, so we would in effect change time zones twice a year as everyone else went on or off. So that means it would have been the central time zone. So July 6, 1978 7:40 pm, central time zone. So... lay it on me. Do I have a good fortune?
I think the language in the books is tough for kids. The words and sentence syntax are too old fashioned. I think for kids it is better to have it read to them. That's why I read it to my kids every year. If you want to get into the books but don't like reading, why not try the audio books? They are really well performed.

(Just realised I wrote your name incorrectly on here! But it doesn't affect the outcome of your chart--because you could have been called anything when you were born, it doesn't actually affect your nature only your nurtured perspective of yourself).
So, first and foremost, Human Design isn't really used as a fortune-telling tool but rather as a tool to better understand (love, accept and appreciate!) ourselves.
What I can tell about you through the lens of this system is (in brief... but I could write a whole book about each person's chart I see):
You are here to do work you love. If you love your work (or what you pour your life force energy into) you could do it most days for the whole rest of your life.
If you love your work you'll never want to "retire" per se but rather just naturally slow down a little bit as you age and keep doing and building and making stuff until you do.
You're highly individual (examples I already know about you: you're on Hive, you're American but live in a culture completely different from the culture you were born into, etc) and are really here to do new things and different things than the crowd.
You're highly structured, organised and routine-like in your life. (I see that in the consistency with which you write posts here!). While you're designed to make quick, gut decisions on things, the idea of "Going with the flow" isn't really you. You like to make a plan and then execute it.
You're strong-willed and if you say you're going to do something then you'll go through hell and high water to make sure you stick to that commitment. Over time, you've probably become wiser about what you will and won't say 'yes' to and you know that you hate letting people down.

Oh, and the part of you that paid attention to the detail regarding your time of birth... I put Indianapolis in as your birth location (since it only needs the timezone and not specific lat and long & I checked Indianapolis' time in 1978 against the time in 2018 with UTC time and there was an hour difference. Which means (as I understand it) the software I use to create charts had already adjusted for daylight savings changes; something I thought they had done (more fastidiously than most HD chart software companies but thought I would check since you brought it up!).

Everything you write does seem pretty well on the mark. The only thing you mention that I don't know about is the highly structured thing. I do aim to be structured, but I also often go off the rails and end up winging things far more than I would like. Some undiagnosed ADD perhaps. I'm getting better about that. Kids definitely didn't help, but using a bullet journal does.
You know, I actually don't know why I recalled that fact about my birth time. I usually don't consider that but it came to mind this time. It's funny that I grew up in a place that didn't follow DST then moved to a place that also doesn't follow DST, and very shortly after I left Indiana they changed the law and started following DST. Very odd timing on that.
